I'm a college professor and a fervent fan of books, tv, and the Packers.~once a month) and plan to move there at the end of the school year. Wouldn't hate knowing some people before I head there.FYI#2: That's super if you're headed to/in Vegas for vacation, but I'm not an escort, and have no interest in "showing you around."

I am a teacher and I am a transplant from colder regions. I am a reader and love to write. I like to play games (both console and board). I love sci-fi and horror, but there's a special place in my heart for campy zombie flicks (Night of the Comet, Ahhhh! Zombies, Shaun of the dead, etc). Dr. Horrible is an earworm on a regular basis. I am hard headed and independent at times, which makes me very difficult to push. And apparently, when I talk about myself, I write in simple sentences. While I am an English teacher, I am one of the least grammar-stubborn of my friends, which causes my friends to look at me and say, "But you're an English teacher." Probably something low-key where we can talk and get to know each other, like coffee or an event. I have found that movies don't seem to be a good first date, because you don't have a chance to talk and people can be very particular with their movie theater etiquette.

Hi, I am in the hospitality industry, and I am also interested in the medical field. I am a medical assistant, but I am a bit of a night owl, so I work graveyards. In my spare time, I enjoy hikes, spending time playing with my daughter, going the park, playing Frisbee, anything outdoors, really.I have a large family, and I enjoy their company, regardless of what we are doing. I'm pretty casual. For a first meet, I wouldn't call it a date. Just getting a feel for each other. Something that involves walking, or doing something, not just staring at each other, and not a movie or a show.
