It's about follow through, men. Words and actions must match, communication must be present, and connections must be made. I used to teach 6th and 8th grade science and have a passion for working with teens in a counseling environment. I also used to play and coach competitive volleyball, so I am a sports type of girl. I will be back in the Valley in December.I am looking for an educated (military, entrepreneur, college grad, or life/self built) passionate man who is tall, dark, well-spoken, and driven. I am at a turning point in my life, and I am simply not looking for something casual. I have no idea if I ever want to be married or have kids, but I know for sure that I want to spend my nights and weekends with the love of my life. I am tall and have a curvy figure, although I enjoy and make an integral party of my weekly routine lifting, cardio and pilates as often as my back/spinal injury will allow. To relax, I am the type of girl who loves a sports bar during college basketball season, beer and wings, and serious flirting with a cute guy (on a date of course). Otherwise, I am drawn to my wine bars and more intimate settings when I am not working, doing research, writing, or nannying (which I do part-time while in graduate school). I am a complete sucker for classic comedies with true comedians like John Candy, and any tasteful dry/sarcastic comedy like office space is amazing for incessant movie quotes with someone who shares my sense of humor (laughing from the gut about silly/stupid/inane/classic things). Finally, I do enjoy my off time, my "me" time, and independence away from another individual is a necessity for everyone's sanity. Who can't agree with that??!!!??? :) There are 3 non-negotiables when it comes to relationships on which I will never budge...if you do not meet all 3 of these, we will not ever be compatible for dating or more. I juice just about every morning and love to talk about what is the best things to eat and drink for the optimum body health. I try to stay away from gluten and sugar, I do however have a week spot for cheese, the really nice, fine, yummy cheeses. I bake cakes and cupcakes from home. ,I eat organic, Non GMO, and grass fed meats.I would love to learn French as I have had a lot of experience with a French family and took it in high school so I have an app on my phone that I listen to when I get time..one of these days it'll come in handy when I finally take that Europe trip and enjoy me a little France whilst over there...lol!What I'm looking for- A Future, not a "For now".. I want to find someone to build life with that will be there for the distance. someone that enjoys time alone as a couple and time as a family with the kids. If you're not sure if you want kids or not don't write me.. I am not here for you to find out if my current children are in your cards or not, and I also say I want more kids, that is a VERY important thing for me. to be ale to attempt having more children is something I want, if it doesn't happen that's ok, but if you're not interested in that possibility don't write me.I believe we all have Love Languages too and can learn from one another no matter who the person may be. I'm growing every day and have learned a lot from my past relationship. . Meditation, Reiki, and energy work as well as believe in God.. it's quiet the mixture that I truly love...lol!I guess I have to put this in here too... I know what I'm looking for and will not "settle" I have had some great dates and great men in my life with Great qualities that I will find in my special someone so I have kinda high standards and expectations...     I guess I am on here for many of the same reasons every one else is. I have a great relationship with my family, I'm a daddy's girl that's been replaced by the grand kids, haha!I enjoy an active lifestyle and try to be healthy. I like to run the 5 & 10K races, just do them & give myself something to keep working to improve (though the entry fees for those guys are getting pretty expensive!) working back up to this after more than a month down to shingles ( I thought that was something older people got, not me!)I love camping and backpacking. I get up early on some weekends just to hike around with binoculars and look at birds- for fun. I really like craft beers, good coffee, and trying different foods. I believe you should never stop learning and am taking some grad level classes, working toward a master's in wildlife management. I've moved around alot with my jobs. I do like to see new places. I can enjoy just about any kind of music. gangsta rap doesn't do it for me a whole lot but there are some. I mostly listen to public radio and classic rock, some pop and modern rock and a little country, though alot of it sounds the same or not like country to me... I like bluegrass, jazz, and blues, too.In short, life is good but it's more fun with a good friend and would love to find someone to do things with, especially hiking, backpacking, and adventures in general. Maybe something more can develop from that! A nice, headlamp-; enjoying a blast of the rest of the day! Ok, maybe not the first date. :)Coffee or brunch. A museum visit would be cool.Get tickets and catch a game somewhere
