I'm an artist, art therapist, and music lover. Spiritual but not religious, Virgo, cat person, introvert, social, and intuitive. The rest we can talk about later! I wouldn't say that I'm open to going wherever the wind will take me (that was more in my 20's) but I am open to thinking about it, planning it, and THEN doing it. Yep, I used to pick up and leave whenever I wanted. Now I am kind of looking for a way to be grounded, successful, and free-spirited. I've been an independent person since the day I was born, sometimes to a fault. I don't like being told what or how to do anything. Well, if it's something that I care about. If it's computers, please DO tell me how. Most of all, I want to help. That might sound cliche, but I see it as a way of life, not just my career.     Please understand that I am a single mom, and my daughter does live with me. So, even though I would love to be super spontaneous and just get up and go any time it's convenient for you, I just simply can't. I actually need sufficient time to find a sitter. I also believe that we should have somewhat of a relationship before I introduce you to my daughter or even bring you into my home with her there. I grew up in a very athletic family and like playing most sports. I'm pretty competitive and I enjoy the trash talk that comes with it. I don't mind losing either, it just makes me strive to be better! I love playing softball, it's the sport that I am most passionate about playing, even though I am not nearly as good as I used to be! I play on a co-ed softball team every Friday night and really love it.....actually I wish I played more. I love playing fun, ridiculously fast card games. There's no such thing as a regular game of UNO in my house! I'd love to teach you how to play one of my favorite games, NERTS, if you'd let me! Watch out though...you just might become addicted! It happens to the best of us! I love spending time with my family and friends...but then again, who doesn't? I have been 3 times already, and each time has been a blast! If there is anything else that you'd like to know, just ask! I'm an open book! Good Luck!! I believe that the first time we meet; it should be simple and easy going. Coffee, drinks, ice cream, feeding the ducks at the park....etc. Just enough time to see if there is any sort of connection between us and the possibility of a first date.

    I guess I am on here for many of the same reasons every one else is. I have a great relationship with my family, I'm a daddy's girl that's been replaced by the grand kids, haha!I enjoy an active lifestyle and try to be healthy. I like to run the 5 & 10K races, just do them & give myself something to keep working to improve (though the entry fees for those guys are getting pretty expensive!) working back up to this after more than a month down to shingles ( I thought that was something older people got, not me!)I love camping and backpacking. I get up early on some weekends just to hike around with binoculars and look at birds- for fun. I really like craft beers, good coffee, and trying different foods. I believe you should never stop learning and am taking some grad level classes, working toward a master's in wildlife management. I've moved around alot with my jobs. I do like to see new places. I can enjoy just about any kind of music. gangsta rap doesn't do it for me a whole lot but there are some. I mostly listen to public radio and classic rock, some pop and modern rock and a little country, though alot of it sounds the same or not like country to me... I like bluegrass, jazz, and blues, too.In short, life is good but it's more fun with a good friend and would love to find someone to do things with, especially hiking, backpacking, and adventures in general. Maybe something more can develop from that! A nice, headlamp-; enjoying a blast of the rest of the day! Ok, maybe not the first date. :)Coffee or brunch. A museum visit would be cool.Get tickets and catch a game somewhere
