My goal is to make it to retirement (7 years away) and then spend my retirement exploring all the wonderful possibilities that will present themselves. :-) My taste in music is quite varied...As long as it isn't abrasive or profane, I probably can find something about it to enjoy. Loyalty, kindness and honesty are traits that I prize. Additionally...Do not bother to contact me unless you have a picture on your profile. If you are a serial dater, have unresolved/committment issues, are still in love with your ex/late wife, are seriously bigoted or prejudiced, are an agnostic/atheist, or like to play the "chat game", then pass me by. I am not the type to date someone when they're continuing to look for the next new target, are trying to figure out what to do with themselves or are unable to profess a belief in God. What I am looking for is a professionally-minded, non-control freak, gentleman who knows what he wants and is capable of talking about something else other than his ex/late wife continually...That's the *** of death for any date. The man I'm looking for is a Christian...And can come in from fishing in the morning, get cleaned up and then go out to a very nice restaurant in the evening, all with equal ease. I know this individual must exist...I just haven't met him yet. And no...I am not the type to do the "just friends" thing. By the way...I've tried repeatedly to change my age on this thing and it won't allow me to...I'm 50, not 53. Old enough to know better...Old enough to know how to get away with it anyway! lol A great first date would be my meeting a gentleman at a really great restaurant, where we would share life experiences over a bottle of moscato. Following that, we would could go out to a movie, if we are finding that we are enjoying each other's company. :-) If we find that we have some commonalities, then perhaps a second date might involve us going out antiquing...Or, if we're really getting along well, going out fishing...Just be prepared to compare stringers at the end of the date. :-)

Hey.... I would like to find someone that could make me feel the butterflies in my tummy. Its lonely out there and I would like to find that special one who I can have fun with me , laugh with me , be silly with me and all the other stuff that goes with a relationship. Staying home and watching a movie is a great night with my man or going out for dinner once in a while is also a great date nite. Enjoy family time very much and friends' date night every once in a while. I love the MN Vikings (have to watch them and take in a game every once in a while) and the Twins also. Like to go to fairs to ride the rollercoasters! Thats the daredevil in me!! Love flowers...planted ones and ones that go in a vase.Well, enough about me....if you find anything interesting, send me a shout out and maybe we can chat. Thanks for your time.Good luck with your adventure on here. Well, we could meet for a soda or coffee or drinks. Maybe at a place just to talk and get to know each other better to see if it would go further with us or not. Dinner would work also. Have to see what works with YOU and I!!

Hi there! Thanks for taking a minute to look through my profile, and feel free to send me a message if you have an interest in getting to know me a little better. My friends would say that I'm kind, smart, friendly, and always there when they need anything! I pride myself on building strong friendships and surrounding myself with good people. I highly value my friends and family, especially my adorable nieces and nephew. I lived out of state for a while, but then moved back to be closer to home (but not too close). I am blessed to have such a supportive family and wonderful friends in my life!I enjoy my work with college students, and I put a lot of time and effort into my professional side (hence the need to try out the online get-out-and-meet-someone option). I'm also currently pursuing my master's degree.I'm an independent gal, but I would love to find someone to share life's experiences with. I've poured myself into my work in recent years, so now I'm starting to get back in the dating scene a bit. I'm more of a relationship girl than a casual dater, so when I date someone, I'm looking to see if it will eventually progress into something more. I'm in no rush to find someone, but I thought I would try this just to put myself out there more. A little more about me... I'm a personally conservative gal with liberal social views. I enjoy traveling, but I'm more of an explorer than a risky adventurer. I'm an introvert with extrovert traits (I enjoy spending a quiet night in, but I can schmooze a crowd with the best of them). I can be a farm girl or a girly-girl. I'm both logical and creative, serious and sarcastic, idealistic and realistic. My practical side tends to get the best of me at times, but sometimes I just need some excitement to keep me rejuvenated (read that as "I have a long to-do list, but I'm going to take a spontaneous weekend road-trip ***;). I'm looking for a nice, down-to-earth guy to spend time with and see if something develops. I enjoy people who are sincere, thoughtful, funny, and willing to try new things. I think it's great when people in a relationship help one another become better, balance each other, and keep things real. I care a lot about others and put people first in my life, so it's nice to have someone who is willing to care for me, too. :) I'm up for chatting at a coffee shop, going out to dinner, checking out a fun local event, or strolling through a park. It's all good!
