I like cooking, reading books, I like being in the park with some good wine and just laying out. My house is my comfort zone. Look for the same person, who’ll make it comfortable at home.

It's hard to write about yourself but how else do we get to know each other so here goes....I guess my greatest achievement so far in life is my 2 daughters. My family is the most important thing in my life. I love the outdoors - there is something about all 4 seasons that pulls me in - the new life and growth in the spring, the heat and lazy days of summer, the crisp, cool air and colors of autumn and the cool, quiet peace of winter. That's not to say that I don't love to travel to warm locations, the south, the Caribbean, a beach, a lake, a stream. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about new things. I think what makes people interesting are all the different things that they do. Most of the time I'm a homebody. I love to catch a movie by the fireplace with a glass of wine or sit on the deck and listen to the sounds of nature. But I do enjoy going out with friends, laughing and having a good time. I can have fun just about any place. I'm not really into the bar scene but occasionally it is fun. I am honest and it's important to me not to play games. I'm looking for a best friend and a companion, someone to share all that life has to offer. If you think we may have something in common, message me. Oh yea - P.S. Must love animals! I would like to go for a long walk or sit and have a cup of coffee, a soda or a glass of wine. It should be someplace somewhat quiet where we could talk and get to know one another.

Can you help me find the missing piece in life's big puzzle? I'm happy, well adjusted, a bit curvy (working on that!) and sometimes silly (in a good way). I have a job I love, a wonderful son and cute little house. But something is missing..... And that is where you come in. I'm missing all those great things that come with a relationship. Simple things like taking a walk together after work - talking about our day. Working in the yard or heading out of town for the weekend. Having a glass of wine or beer on Friday evening with maybe a fire out back.....and then some adult time...I'm not looking for a specific type of person, but I do know they need to be good and kind with their feet firmly planted on the ground. To me it is all inside that counts - Pretty is as pretty does. That about sums it up for me. I have sole custody of my son, who is 10. He is a very cool and somewhat fearless guy. It's just been the two of us for most of his life. He's the man in the house, but would love for me to meet someone. I'm kind and generous and love taking care of people. I love to travel, meet for drinks, listen to live music or just hang at home. One of my favorite things to do is make a nice meal for people I care about. I'm very affectionate and pretty much say what is on my mind (which at times can get me in trouble). Although I'm listed under looking for as 'long term' I don't want or expect to jump into a relationship. Would rather start out as friends first and see where it goes from there. Took a break from dating to focus on my son and other things, but it is now time to step out of the box and find the last piece of the puzzle. Would you like to help me find it? :) Low key is good especially for the first date. Someplace quiet for a drink or take a walk.
