Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I am a 51 year old teacher. I love my job and look forward to going to it everyday. I love teaching in a human services program. I am easy-going, low maintenance, easy to talk to, almost always smiling, pretty hard to get me down. Rather be happy. So if you are looking for super sexy skinny spandex workout girl - that is not me. However, 51 a year old body can be sexy too .... right??I have a big family with whom I am very close. We still try and celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and birthdays together. I love my family and they have been very supportive of me over the years. I have a small group of really close friends and we get together once or twice a month.I believe I am kind hearted, funny, honest, genuine, intelligent and open minded.I have one child who is currently attending his 3rd year univeristy and although I miss him very much I am very proud of who he is and his accomplishments, he is my #1 priority, but that being said, I find myself thinking maybe it is time for ME, and thus signed on to meetville to meet the person who will be with me for the next chapter in my life. I enjoy doing many crafts and hobbies in life. I also enjoy teaching those that want to learn what I do craft and hobby wise. I love kids of all ages but mainly because of my age I prefer someone withe older kids. I am retired from work and when my daily routine around the house is complete then I can get into my crafts or hobbies. I also enjoy going for walks on the beach or just around or double block a few times a day,. I have a little dog that enjoys the walks also. I recently had to put my 16 year old dog to sleep and miss him dearly. I enjoy all types of music including R & R and oldies, religious country and western and songs that I can sing along to. I do like to sing...never said I was good at it but I do like to sing.I have a wide variety of people and friends in my life and I do like to keep busy when I can, but I also enjoy a nice sit down in front of a fire be it camping or in front of the fireplace. I love to go camping but prefer to camp in a trailer . My goal is complete the book I have been writing for several years but life got in the way and I have not had a chance to complete it.I love to eat...I should say I enjoy any kind of foods, and I really love seas foods, just don't put anything in front of me like slugs with shells or suction cups attached or not....yuk! Lobster, crab, shrimp...that kind of seafood and don't forget the scallops, all nicely browned to my liking...LOL!I love to swim and I used to do a lot of water skiing on one ski and tricks also..what fun that is. What I would like to do is sit on a blanket in a park by a lake and have a nice lunch and time just to spend alone getting to know each other further. Maybe lunch at a winery on there lawn or something in that order. There are many things we could do but a day light lunch would be a nice way to get to know each other nicely whether in a restaurant or at a winery in there grass on that Blanket!
