- roll tide. I also enjoy sitting on the beach and having a drink and just relaxing, movies, and reading. I like planned events, as well as spur of the moment adventures. I enjoy almost anything if I am with the right person. I love to travel to new places and also revisiting places that interest me.After being married for a long time, and with grown children and three grandsons, my goal is to have it all the second time around. I am not talking about a holy roller by any means, but believing in God is a must. I have overcome alot of adversities so far in my life and still feel that the best is yet to come. I try to take whatever is thrown at me and make the best of it, and I think I have done well in that area. I am on my own for the first time in my life and I feel very liberated by that, but still miss companionship and somebody to come home to after work. I am an honest person, I am a good friend and feel that friends are very important. I like the simpler things in life and the little things mean alot.As far as music, I like soft rock, country, oldiest, jazz, just about anything except for rap. Even love to listen occasionally to Celtic Women which I find very soothing. For a first date I would like to meet this person in a public place, as I feel this would be beneficial to both of us. Maybe meet for a drink or dinner and then decide if we feel that we are compatible and would like to see each other again.

    Well been on and off this site, and have met some really great guys, Not sure in the past if I was really ready for the dating scene again or making a commitment. So now that my boys are very much on their own now, and I am much more settled thought it time to update the profile. I am somewhat quiet a little shy at first ,but strong minded and a good sense of humor. I am not at all materialistic but like to be comfortable, I enjoy my home and garden, I have a secure full time job that I enjoy. not into fishing but love camping preferably places I can suntan naked lol so not too many people around.
