About Me

After all this time here I am looking for the what is hopefully, the best part of me. I know that I love the outdoors, I know that there has to be some one out there in this great expanse of a universe that is looking for a warm, compassionate relationship with a female. I want to come to know that person through conversations and spending time together that over time grows into what we know as a comfortable, loving and FUN relationship. I enjoy all music with perhaps the exception of Rap. It just makes me annoyed, I'm sorry. I am hopeful that someone who reads this is also looking for a fun person to make new experiences. One who is not necessarily looking for the next spouse, but rather looking to meet someone who shares the same sense of humor, who isn't going to take themselves too seriously, after all, we aren't perfect. This person should also be open to "seeing" what happens. I can tell you I am exactly as my profile and photos will depict. I am a somewhat complex, often silly, sometimes serious woman looking for that person to have a relationship with who is open to more than just another date. I like my first date to not necessarily be a first day. Why not meet for coffee or other beverage? We can meet and talk for a while. We will know if there is any chemistry or not. If there is great, lets talk some more and plan another date (and soon okay?). If there really isn't any chemistry between us, we can finish our beverage and call it a day. With that said, lets say we do find each other intriguing, lets not waste not and consider our next date. By the way, it doesn't have to be dinner. Perhaps a walk downtown, or to some other local event that may be taking place? Dinner is okay too, just saying.

About me....well, I love my kids first and foremost, enjoy spending time with friends, and avoid drama at all costs. Not my thing! I exercise regularly and consider myself somewhat of a gym rat. I love to cook and think of myself as a foodie. I enjoy nice restaurants but am equally comfortable with pub food. If you are looking for a girl who hikes and camps, then I am probably not the one for you. I enjoy the outdoors, but that's usually sitting on the deck with a****ail. I am 5'6 and 133lbs. I am honest about my weight. LOL. I like Metallica and Jimmy Buffett. How's that for a difference? I have a great life and consider myself blessed.

I am a fun and funny single mom of two teenagers, a son and a daughter. I have been officially divorced for about ***years (after 18 years of mostly unhappy marriage) and have been raising my kids to be pretty independent. I am a people-person and my work allows me to be my own boss, which I love. I am sensitive to others, responsible, and reliable. In the little free time that I have, I like to spend time with my two rescue dogs, my friends, I like to eat out, garden, sing, do home improvement projects, and I am a big movie fan. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I like funny stories, funny people, good fiction, romantic comedy films, walks, art museums, antique shopping, comedy shows and comedy radio, shows at DPAC, helping friends in need, taking naps, and rain and snow storms. My handy man encouraged me to try this site. Meet for coffee or a glass a wine...maybe dinner and a movie.
