; have become comfortable operating as a party of one. That said, I would like to think that there's a guy out there that I could tolerate for more than an hour. Don't go thinking I'm a royal *** that's not the case. On the contrary my friends tell me I'm too laid back. I just don't think that at this point in my life that I need to hover over or smother someone and certainly don't want that done to me. I love sports & my bike (Honda shadow). Particularly hockey, football, baseball, college basketball, stock car racing, and winter x games. I also read a lot, music is a must, cooking, baking, attempting to grow things, dogs, fishing, and travel. I have 4 grown children & 2 beautiful granddaughters who I don't see enough, along with being blessed to still have both my parents. I do travel to MN fairly frequently to see them. I'm looking forward to being back in the states again and starting a new chapter in life. What I'm not into is "friends with benefits", one night stands or casual sex of any kind. I am open to making new friends, with the understanding that friends are friends-I don't have sex with them. I have a tolerant ear, and know when to say I’m ready to head out. I’m active and up for trying new things – I like going to sporting events (GO GATORS!) or off for a weekend backroad trip to a little town, a new beach or historical site. I also have a current passport and some pretty great stories of world adventures. If you want to see if you're compatible, travel together. I’m into biking, walking, a bit of running, snorkeling, sailing and fishing- it’s all great fun. My yoga practice is big for me, it keeps me centered and out of trouble, for the most part;)I'm looking for a confident, happy man- someone who challenges and encourages me. He listens as well as he expresses himself, and feels uplifted when I'm near. He is proud of his accomplishments, the life he’s built, and his relationships with family and friends. He’s learned from his mistakes and has a great outlook for a bright future.     Life has been good to me... My children are grown and blessed me with wonderful grandchildren to love, but now its my turn in life to find a companion to share our lifes blessing.
