I may not be the prettiest girl, I may not be the thinnest girl (no that does not mean I'm fat) & I may not be the richest girl but, I do have a heart the size of TX, a pretty good sense of humor and know how to make my man feel loved, wanted and needed. If you're looking for someone into extreme sports, aerobic barbie I am not.... I've gotten back to walking several times a week and that's my speed for now. I'm not opposed to checking out new avenues of exercise with the right person's encouragement especially if that's something they enjoy. But no marathons please. By the way all my pics are current so if we were to meet you don't have to worry about meeting my mother...I'm not into "serial dating" and am not looking for someone to "just date". I am looking for just one guy for the long term, good times and bad. I am loyal to a fault and probably way too trusting. I am a very passionate person in everything I do, whether it's making sure my son graduates college (which he just did in May...woo hoo!), going to flea markets to find that undiscovered treasure, or spending time with a special guy that loves to cuddle, hug and kiss. The most important thing is that you must be open, honest and trustworthy. If there are no lies, there is no deceipt and thats a key ingredient I am looking for in a guy. At this age most of us have our share of "baggage" but I'm all about keeping the past in the past and looking forward into the future and hopefully we have learned from our mistakes.I respect a guy who is actively involved in their kids lives, young or older. Mine is out of the house so my time is pretty much my own and would prefer a guy who has the same or has at least enough time to incorporate me into his busy world. I do have two dogs that are my babies but have a great dog sitter so I can getaway on the weekends.Although I've lived in TX for many moons now, I still claim my yankee heritage. I've lost the accent but not my love of the east coast, ocean air and gorgeous "real" fall colors. Love all types of music, classic rock, blues/jazz, country, except rap, that's not really music. I love to ride motorcycles, as a passenger, not a driver and I know when to hold on tight. I also know when to give my guy space to breath as I hope he would me. But, for the most part, I am looking for someone to spend most of my time with. So if you're looking for something every other weekend, I'm probably not yer gal. I love to hold hands, cuddle and kiss so you must love PDA! I firmly believe that long lasting relationships are based on honesty, trust, respect and communication, oh and attraction is important too. I'm not perfect and I'm not looking for Mr. Perfect but I do think there has to be a physical attraction to get things moving forward. I can dress up or dress down, whatever the occasion but I always like looking good doing it! Well, I think that's all I have for now, yup, I've never been accused of being short on words, but, what I say I mean and I mean what say. I would love to hear from hard working, hard playing guys that act younger than their age (in a good way) and... if you are tall, have brown eyes and/or own a motorcycle with a comfy passenger seat...that's extra bonus points in my book! lol! I enjoy cooking and baking. Hate the cold!-this is home. They have two seasons- green and brown. Most people are too stuck up or afraid to say Hi as they walk by. I like to make others feel welcomed. When out with friends, I will always invite the loner to come join the group so they do not have to drink alone. The Big Bang Theory cracks me up. Like to watch old black and white movies from the 30's-50's. I listen to rap/hip-hop and old country.Not the outdoors type. Winter is too cold and in the summer I do nothing but burn-peel-burn some more. I've never tanned in my life. Just turn different shades of red.Love joking around,laughig, pulling pranks. I don't take things too serious and neither should he. I want someone who can laugh at me, with me and himself.I like cats,dogs and horses( not to ride,just to pet their nose) Hate spiders,bats,creepy crawl things,worms,snakes. I like the quiteness of fishing but I dont like to eat fish and I wont bait my own hook! I can be on the river bank casting time and time again without a hook or bait. Just like to pretend I'm fishing. I find it calming. I know-weird right?My dislikes in food: anything green, most meats, and if it has too many ingredients I wont eat it either(up to 5 is my max), black beans look like dead flies-YUK!-the kind where the juices drip off your elbows-no lettuce-no pickle(green stuff) The first time we meet in person would be day time for coffee. If things go well, then a dinner date, drinks or a movie. I prefer a place where jeans and t-shirt are the norm. Dressing up is okay, but at the end of the day I just want to relax with a bottle of beer and catch the game on tv. Sports bars would be a great place to meet. Not into basketball but will watch it. I prefer football or baseball. I've never been to a hockey game but think it would be a lot of fun. Especially right down by the glass where all the action is.
