I love to see live music (especially at outdoor venues), venture out to new places, take in festivals of any kind, stay in with friends by the pool or chiminea, travel to the lake, kayak, dance to country, blues, or just about anything. I work out regularly at a gym, sing in a choir, create unique, healthy and delicious meals and sample wine given any opportunity. I enjoy the outdoors, camping and even fishing. Quiet time by the lake or campfire is pure joy. Beaches are my preference. (Not much of a cold weather gal, but I have been known to read by the fire and work out in the gym to hang with the snow bunnies.) I'm a dog (not a cat) person (sorry I'm allergic). I like to travel but admittedly most of my travels have remained domestic. Hoping to expand those horizons.My friendships are extremely important to me and I am committed to maintaining them.I'm a hard worker and have a career that I thoroughly enjoy and in which I take pride. I like to believe that I make a difference in the world. My free time, however, is the most important time to me. I am an extrovert and people person and love engaging in conversation. I believe that communication is essential to any relationship.I am a strong person, probably a factor of many life challenges. I believe in doing the right thing. Dating is a start yet I would hope to meet one person where it works out so well we want to be exclusive, I'm naturally a one man woman....My teenage sons live with me and I love them unconditionally, or at least that is my goal. After all, I've seen parents so wrapped up in their own ego that they would rather throw their own child under the bus than take the time to figure out what is really going on with them. Other than that, I love my place of work. I love my home as it provides a base for us to feel warm and comfortable, One day I'll be back near the water where I love to view all seasons. I love my flower garden in the spring, summer and fall, it brings such color and keeps me going...I like it in the winter because I get a break. I love going to Zumba class and pilates class and generally keeping fit one way or another. I enjoy cooking in or going out to eat. Going out dancing or staying in and dancing for that matter :). I hope to find someone to share all these wonderful things with. I love the way men are less complex than women, how they can fix things and figure things out step by step without a lot of drama, how they are straight forward and knowing, how they realize women can be complex and unpredictable yet still are enticed and enchanted and strongly attracted to us.I'm optimistic. I usually can see the bright side and put things in perspective before reacting . I want to meet a man who I know I can live without but why on earth would I ever want to? First dates should be a meet and greet they say, however, my inner self would want to jump in a boat and hang out, go to a concert or a show or a city, have an incredible meal or sit on the beach or backyard bonfire. I love to work out after work, enjoy doing outdoor activities like golf (not good though), Kayaking, love the lake and the beach. I have just started bowling on a weekly league which I enjoy. Also love attending sporting events, going out to eat and movies. I also love to enjoy a nice quiet dinner at home, grilling out and enjoy a glass of nice wine. I have two grown children, both live with me at the present and a beautiful grandchild who is 1 year old. I have a full time job, which I enjoy so I do stay very busy. A first ideal date might be going out to eat.. I would also enjoy a walk outside, then dinner and a movie.
