About Me

My friends enjoy spending time with me because we laugh a lot. I appreciate a great sense of humor and love to get others laughing too. I'm told I look younger than my age, and seek someone who's both young at heart and keeps himself in great shape. My ideal match is someone with a keen intellect and sharp wit, who's emotionally open, and ready for a committed relationship; Someone who enjoys both fine dining out, and home-made meals at home. I'm a good cook and love cooking for people I care about, for intimate dinners-for-two or dinner parties for big groups of favorite friends.I'm passionate about travel and hope to find an adventurous travel mate, whether it's for local fun weekends or exotic trips faraway. I live near the beach, and when home, I enjoy time near the water or quiet afternoons gardening in my back yard. I've taken up skiing in the past few years, and also love being in the mountains and the breathtaking views from the top of the chairlifts.I'm an avid reader and like discussing books, preferably fiction. I love music, and enjoy seeing it performed live -- whether it's rock, reggae or some of my favorite performers. Other fun dates would be performances of stand- I'm hoping to meet a smart guy, happy and successful in his career, who's ready to share his life with his best friend/romantic partner. A guy who's expressive about his feelings, romantic, and passionate about life. He knows what he wants and goes after it, yet practices a healthy balance of work and play. A thoughtful, considerate person who's kind, sensitive, fun-loving, and eager to find a playmate. Are you that guy? A quiet dinner where we can get to know each other -- or a bike ride or a long walk at the beach, as long as we get the chance for a good conversation. Drinks overlooking the water somewhere local . . . or attending a live theater or musical performance that we can leisurely discuss afterward. So many options!!

Looking for: man. In age: 48-58

Dating is a start yet I would hope to meet one person where it works out so well we want to be exclusive, I'm naturally a one man woman....My teenage sons live with me and I love them unconditionally, or at least that is my goal. After all, I've seen parents so wrapped up in their own ego that they would rather throw their own child under the bus than take the time to figure out what is really going on with them. Other than that, I love my place of work. I love my home as it provides a base for us to feel warm and comfortable, One day I'll be back near the water where I love to view all seasons. I love my flower garden in the spring, summer and fall, it brings such color and keeps me going...I like it in the winter because I get a break. I love going to Zumba class and pilates class and generally keeping fit one way or another. I enjoy cooking in or going out to eat. Going out dancing or staying in and dancing for that matter :). I hope to find someone to share all these wonderful things with. I love the way men are less complex than women, how they can fix things and figure things out step by step without a lot of drama, how they are straight forward and knowing, how they realize women can be complex and unpredictable yet still are enticed and enchanted and strongly attracted to us.I'm optimistic. I usually can see the bright side and put things in perspective before reacting . I want to meet a man who I know I can live without but why on earth would I ever want to? First dates should be a meet and greet they say, however, my inner self would want to jump in a boat and hang out, go to a concert or a show or a city, have an incredible meal or sit on the beach or backyard bonfire. I guess that is second date.

Looking for: man. In age: 49-59

Hello, Thank you for viewing my profile. A little bit about my self would be. I enjoy good movies, most music, some out side activities but willing to try something new. I go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week and try to eat healthy. I am very interested in finding someone combatible and special to share life with. I am not into head games, straight forward is the best way to be. My pictures are up to date. Also I would like to add that I am every bit of 5' 10" so I am looking for someone that is about 5' 11" or taller. LOL For the first date would be nice to go somewhere that is not too loud, so we could talk and get to know each other.

independent (uh-oh) artsy, happy, low-maintenance kind of gal with various interests.looking for friends and more.i've had a great time in my life. adventure has always been a running theme for me. i work hard but play with even more ferocity. at this point i'm most interested in the quality of time spent. brain massage first then whatever may follow.my will is free.i live alive.open to possibility , there are always new stories to collect. starts with waking up every day : ) a simple trip to the grocery store can lead to a strange and hilarious experience.lucky me. i pulled the short straw. my brother taught me to be strong physically (by default !) but he also taught me how to take care of myself. like how to fix the water heater in the middle of the night.not the girly-girl type, i prefer power tools over diamonds(allergic to metals--even gold-- can't wear them but i can use them)...i've got the woman thing down however--i clean up pretty well or so i am told.i attribute that to the discriminating french men and women i lived with in a flat in SF years ago. cracks me up, the reaction i get when i show up for a function in heels and hose. a chameleon of sorts. comfortable in work boots AND stilettos..my son is ,flown the nest and rarely lets me cook for him anymore, he's got his own women taking care of that. but i love to cook. i get a secret thrill after spending the whole day preparing a gourmet meal and then presenting it. then reveling in the inevitable food moaning that ensues.my work can be corporate at times. completely against my grain (hairspray vs. holllyhocks in my locks) but i understand it and morph accordingly when necessary.time away from that madness is spent mucking about my gardens, feeding my brain, and sometimes staring at the clouds from above.every new day has potential for more laughter.serenity now! intelligence and.laughter are essential.if it's cold out, something inside.i can handle a brisk walk in a snowstormbut i prefer the sultry steamy sass of summer. conversation then collaboration.
