Let me start by saying that I am no where near being perfect and I've definitely made my mistakes along the way and have learned from them. I've realized that it's usually a man who can bring out the best in a woman so I'm hoping to find that special person who will bring out the very best in me. I'm romantic, spontaneous, independent, and a true friend. I'm secure, and responsible. Friends consider me funny and someone who they enjoy being around. Must be my witty sense of humor..lolol. I know when to be professional, but also have a wild side on occasion where I enjoy letting loose :-) I guess you would say I'm responsible but very fun! I'm very blessed to have a great group of friends. I love adventure and travel and have done so extensively in Central America. I also lived in Guatemala and Honduras for several years. My time there was nothing less than amazing. I have the travel bug and hope to do more with my partner, Time spent with close friends and family helps keep me sane/grounded. Balance in life is important to me. I'm looking for someone to share all that life has to offer. I'm looking for a man who is active and somewhat fit or height/weight proportionate. You enjoy a career that is challenging and fulfilling. You can carry on a conversation about a wide variety of subjects, yet you reserve the ability to laugh at yourself, and with me, rather than at me - although the latter is often easy to do...haha Like me, you seek someone to help smooth out the edges of an already well-rounded life. Finally, I believe that being selective is a great thing. Too many people fear being alone. I'm very comfortable being alone and prefer it to being in a relationship that doesn't stimulate me in a variety of arenas. There are many great people out there but not everyone is great for each other. I never take offense if someone were to delete an e-mail I sent them or write back, "Thanks but no thanks." Honesty is definitely the best policy.Also, would like to add that although I have three children, only one lives with me. She is the love of my life and the best souvenir ever! I adopted her while I was in Guatemala. Also, if you are just looking for a casual hook-up, I'm not your girl! Thanks and happy hunting.... I'm open as far as a first date is concerned. I'm really easy to get along with so dinner is usually fine although is you aren't comfortable with that and just want to do coffee or a coctail, that is fine too!

    Looking for a good hearted man who's a cowboy that's a knight in shinning armor. I have been lucky in life to have had unique opportunities. I heard it makes the corn grow!!I like an array of music, ole time rock, 40's/50's, country, Latin... even a little opera (what can I say my parents liked it). Music makes the soul sing. I enjoy dancing; I hear music and my foot starts a tapping and the next thing I know I'm dancing. I also like looking at old cars(not sure where that comes from)I look forward to meeting someone with different interests as well as similar because it's fun to learn new things. But more importantly, it is the sense of self our interests create during our free time and wanting to share that with others as a reflection of who we are.Being outside is great, the never ending feeling of the sky at any hour of the day or night is awesome. Well at this point in life, as I am finding that I have more time to myself, I am redefining what I do.What am I looking for (loaded question)sometimes I would like to think I know... But it is some kind of a click - a connection that's there. Then that connection leads to spending time getting to know each other and wanting to spend more time together. Laughing and having fun is always good, and being realistic too. Life does have its everyday side to it but laughing seems to help that. An important element to a strong relationship is mutual attraction, it is the feeling two people get when they are around each other...best friend, soul mate, unexplained chemistry.. I know that a relationship is like hard wood floors; they ebb and flow with the weather and take work to keep looking like new.I look forward to meeting you and see if we have a connection. On a first date, that is when we initially meet, I think a drink/coffee or dinner is a great way to talk and see if there is a connection. Although stepping out of the norm could be fun too, say something like... going to Valley Fair or bowling... Let's talk and come up with something!
