Let me start by saying that I am no where near being perfect and I've definitely made my mistakes along the way and have learned from them. I've realized that it's usually a man who can bring out the best in a woman so I'm hoping to find that special person who will bring out the very best in me. I'm romantic, spontaneous, independent, and a true friend. I'm secure, and responsible. Friends consider me funny and someone who they enjoy being around. Must be my witty sense of humor..lolol. I know when to be professional, but also have a wild side on occasion where I enjoy letting loose :-) I guess you would say I'm responsible but very fun! I'm very blessed to have a great group of friends. I love adventure and travel and have done so extensively in Central America. I also lived in Guatemala and Honduras for several years. My time there was nothing less than amazing. I have the travel bug and hope to do more with my partner, Time spent with close friends and family helps keep me sane/grounded. Balance in life is important to me. I'm looking for someone to share all that life has to offer. I'm looking for a man who is active and somewhat fit or height/weight proportionate. You enjoy a career that is challenging and fulfilling. You can carry on a conversation about a wide variety of subjects, yet you reserve the ability to laugh at yourself, and with me, rather than at me - although the latter is often easy to do...haha Like me, you seek someone to help smooth out the edges of an already well-rounded life. Finally, I believe that being selective is a great thing. Too many people fear being alone. I'm very comfortable being alone and prefer it to being in a relationship that doesn't stimulate me in a variety of arenas. There are many great people out there but not everyone is great for each other. I never take offense if someone were to delete an e-mail I sent them or write back, "Thanks but no thanks." Honesty is definitely the best policy.Also, would like to add that although I have three children, only one lives with me. She is the love of my life and the best souvenir ever! I adopted her while I was in Guatemala. Also, if you are just looking for a casual hook-up, I'm not your girl! Thanks and happy hunting.... I'm open as far as a first date is concerned. I'm really easy to get along with so dinner is usually fine although is you aren't comfortable with that and just want to do coffee or a coctail, that is fine too!

    Sign of the times that we have this new way of making contact with others who have the same goals. I'm new to it but open and optimistic that it is possible to meet someone??!! I love the entire process from finding the perfect project through all the stages until a wonderful home is completed. I love being physically active. Run, walk, hike, yoga, dance. I am going to get a pair of rollerblades ASAP for use on the Strand. As for a profession, I was a nurse but it has been many years since I have practiced. I miss it and might think of a way to get back into the field at some point. The adrenaline junkie in me misses the intensity of a busy ICU. what else?! Guess I should mention that I have no sense of humor what so ever. I am never entertained by the absurd and unique oddities of life. I like my men boring as a rock. If you are the type that would make me laugh, like the kind of laughing that would make you snort, forget it. And teasing, kidding and being playful is definitely out. What good is any of that? Intelligence and being very physical, also very low priority on my bucket list. Hmmm Oh my gosh, I am adding this last sentence because someone actually thought I was serious about my previous paragraph and compared me to their ex! Seriously!?
