Let's see ... turned 53 in ***, British- People who know me think I am pretty, smart, kind, wicked witty, (what Brit isn't?) affectionate, compassionate, responsible, and happily, a child at heart! I come with a very, very, very tiny suitcase, so I expect the same from you. I like living in the present and future, and learning from the past. Don't have kids, but I am I perfectly happy if you do.I have a roaming spirit and passion for travel, especially to the old continent exploring ancient cities, shores, cultures, weekend getaways, cultural events, and enjoy activities that evoke feelings of peace ... nature, ocean waves, yoga, meditation. Exploring the universe can get a bit lonely by yourself though ... e.g., you come across some amazing artifact, or incredible seascape, and exclaim your amazement since you are alone... to a curious blackbird ... "You must adore living here, it's so beautiful!" rather than to your also awed absent travel mate. So yes, this girl wants a boy to see more ancient sites, cities and architecture with. I am open and willing to share in your passions and hopefully create and explore new ones together. I have studied spirituality and theology and resonate with Buddhism mostly and raised Methodist. Love the ocean and any activities affiliated ... One intent is to rent a baby blue 50's classic convertible and drive Route 66 from coast to coast only staying in ***'s motels along the way to make it authentic. Enjoy horse riding, tennis and anything aviation, and I create large oil paintings when the spirit moves me, which rejuvenates my soul. Oh, and art gallery exhibits and music/art/wine festivals. Dancing salsa and western? ... can do. My most favourite adventure has to be a month's sailing 1st mate on Captain Sam's 52' teak-decked "Alluvian.".. medieval villages, sculptures, galleries, ethnic wine ... wine ... Being a counselor by trade, I'm a keen listener and communicator with lots of intelligent thoughts about the world around me, but I like two~way conversation and debate... fiscally stable and responsible with retirement by 60ish in the cards. You don't have to like everything I do, but you must want to travel and adventure with me at least once a year. I seek and envision a healthy and loving relationship ... rather like an affinity moving two people in unison, who share similar values, and live a shared serenity ... perfection desired, but not expected (poetic? I'm not always on the go, but I prefer outdoor activities to the gym. I don't mind being alone in the least, but I do want somone I can spoil, cuddle, hold hands, cook with, kiss alot, love on and give my attention to, and vise versa, of course.; as she is smart, funny, pretty, and not afraid to make fun of herself, or speak her mind. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but always willing to create different looks to please my man.     I just moved back to FL from very,rural VA and all I can say is,"It's good to be back! What was I thinking?!"-a touch of insanity here! I've been looking for work with not a lot of success but am positive something will eventually come together. I've done mostly customer service,such as serving,retail sales,etc.. I am definitely a 'people person'. So,having said that,I have also enrolled in classes online. Having a lot of spare time on my hands,lately I've been making jewelry and cooking,two of my favorite things to do. But, I certainly wouldn't object to someone cooking for me or going out to dinner!!!lol [had some of that in VA by the way!] I mostly listen to classic rock,being from that era,but am open to some alternative[20 yr. old son] and a very little hip-hop[32 yr. old daughter] Although I enjoy the time I spend with my kids and the dogs,I'd enjoy having someone my age to talk to. Yes,it's hard to believe I'm 54,which most people say I don't look or act like!! Of course, they might be just being nice! I've found with age comes the wisdom to stay serene as possible and stay away from drama! It's been a while because I've been so busy rearranging my life. But,I'd love for someone to wine and dine me! Include a lot of conversation and a midnite stroll on the beach.
