Love the ocean and any activities affiliated ... One intent is to rent a baby blue 50's classic convertible and drive Route 66 from coast to coast only staying in ***'s motels along the way to make it authentic. Enjoy horse riding, tennis and anything aviation, and I create large oil paintings when the spirit moves me, which rejuvenates my soul. Oh, and art gallery exhibits and music/art/wine festivals. Dancing salsa and western? ... can do. My most favourite adventure has to be a month's sailing 1st mate on Captain Sam's 52' teak-decked "Alluvian.".. medieval villages, sculptures, galleries, ethnic wine ... wine ... Being a counselor by trade, I'm a keen listener and communicator with lots of intelligent thoughts about the world around me, but I like two~way conversation and debate... fiscally stable and responsible with retirement by 60ish in the cards. You don't have to like everything I do, but you must want to travel and adventure with me at least once a year. I seek and envision a healthy and loving relationship ... rather like an affinity moving two people in unison, who share similar values, and live a shared serenity ... perfection desired, but not expected (poetic? I'm not always on the go, but I prefer outdoor activities to the gym. I don't mind being alone in the least, but I do want somone I can spoil, cuddle, hold hands, cook with, kiss alot, love on and give my attention to, and vise versa, of course.; as she is smart, funny, pretty, and not afraid to make fun of herself, or speak her mind. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but always willing to create different looks to please my man. I am a very passionate woman. The following is written as I sit half ready for a date that cancelled on me. I understand that things sometime happen out of our control, but when you cancel a first date to run to the aid (supposedly) of an extended family that you claim you don't even care about, that throws up a red flag for me. Anyway, please use proper etiquette when communicating and planning. If you don't have time for a relationship, then continue viewing on this site, but don't waste time with women who are looking for a responsible, dependable person. While I am on a roll, don't bother for a meet and greet with me if you are too cheap to buy a glass or two of $4.00 wine. I'm not a gold-digger and quite the opposite...a giver, but I don't like selfish people. Making a woman pay at the end of a two-hour meeting is totally uncool. Be a gentleman. I know there are women out there who date for dinners or drinks or whatever...I am not one!!! Also while I am at it, if you are traveling two hours and get a hotel where I live, do not think in the least that I will be spending the night or sleeping with you. As you read this, it may be you that I was destined to meet for our "Happily Ever After!" Here is how I envision it to go. There will first be a physical attraction, then we talk, hear each others voice and find out if we have a rapport. I have found that miscommunication can be avoided if *** eliminated after the first few...plus, if you think you may want to get to know me, don't you want to talk to me? After a few conversations on the phone, we discover our common interests and views on God, family, goals and dreams...and our attitude in general. I am a very upbeat, positive, and happy person...a giver. I want the same in a potential mate. Next, you ask me out.We find out if a physical chemistry is there. We will know and it must be mutual. There may be concessions to make for each other. No one is perfect, but I believe there is someone who is perfect for everyone. I am not exactly where I want to be in life yet, but I press everyday toward my mark!Life is very demanding.
