I enjoy the outdoors and would rather find something to do to be outside. I hated pulling weeds then, but believe doing this as a child gave me the love of gardening now. Doesn't matter where I move to, I always find a small plot of ground to dig up :) Yes, I do make home-made meals, no boxes and most of my freezer is filled with fresh frozen veggies. I also own my own sewing machine and I do use it. Now ask me if my children have the same talents......uhhh no. Times have truly changed. Although my oldest daughter who was just married last year is now starting to plant a small vegetable garden. I guess I have started to rub off after all.... This is where my love of fishing comes from.Having 4 girls, my father taught us what we needed to know to take care of ourselves. All of us can tile a floor, *** new faucet or ceiling fan, change a tire, shingle a new roof, or try and fix something broken before getting new. It has come in handy in my past marriage but would like a little help from time to time. I enjoy riding my bike either on the road for great cardio exercise or leisurely through bike trails or neighborhoods enjoying the scenery and the sounds of nature for a relaxing release of tension. I do like to play golf but have not played in a few years. I have played volleyball competitively since high school and this is the first year I have not been on a team because of moving recently. I did however sub on my daughter's team while visiting this summer and I must say, I kept up and felt great! Guess I'm NOT ready to quit yet!I have always wanted to take couples dancing lessons and would love to find a man that is up for the challenge or one who could teach me enough to get around the dance floor.I love music and my passion is wine tasting and smooth jazz, they compliment each other so well, just what I'm looking for - a great pairing with a man sharing my similar tastes and interests. I am an optimist and will NOT settle for negativity.I am so overwhelmed by people on here who just want a "quickie". I'm not like that. The truth is, I do have hope for real true love someday. Someone who takes my breath away. Surprise me. I LOVE surprises!

Hello there – As the internet replaces the first hello from in person to in front of a monitor - Is a quandary on how to sbegin, when you're not there. Don't know what the new trend advisers say about this - so I've made it up and will see how it goes :-)My friends describe me as a high energy, confident, passionate, intelligent, and fun loving soul who enjoys new adventures and experiences (Though they generally don’t do that in one sentence) I’ve been blessed with success professionally and personally. Work in a field that I love and am quite passionate about, own my own home, and enjoy a close relationship with my children(young adults really) who are busy discovering their own life path. Please note, that though I love children, prefer someone who has adult children these days.Would be great to meet someone with a similar positive approach to life who finds the fun in most any experience and laughs easily(most important trait in my view), and just enjoys living....(more like tigger than eyore...). You’d enjoy time with a partner, but are too engaged in your own passions to need someone to be with ***. Live theater is one of my favorite distractions and go whenever I get a chance. Travel is enjoyable to me any time the opportunity presents itself whether local or afar. Dedicate as much time as I can to outdoor activities such as scuba diving, kayaking, hiking or working out to support a longer healthier life. The glass is always half full to me - have fun whatever I'm doing and there is just so much to do! I am not perfect and not looking for someone perfect – just someone perfect for me.
