I am a very passionate woman. The following is written as I sit half ready for a date that cancelled on me. I understand that things sometime happen out of our control, but when you cancel a first date to run to the aid (supposedly) of an extended family that you claim you don't even care about, that throws up a red flag for me. Also while I am at it, if you are traveling two hours and get a hotel where I live, do not think in the least that I will be spending the night or sleeping with you. As you read this, it may be you that I was destined to meet for our "Happily Ever After!" Here is how I envision it to go. There will first be a physical attraction, then we talk, hear each others voice and find out if we have a rapport. I have found that miscommunication can be avoided if *** eliminated after the first few...plus, if you think you may want to get to know me, don't you want to talk to me? After a few conversations on the phone, we discover our common interests and views on God, family, goals and dreams...and our attitude in general. I am a very upbeat, positive, and happy person...a giver. I want the same in a potential mate. Next, you ask me out.We find out if a physical chemistry is there. We will know and it must be mutual. There may be concessions to make for each other. No one is perfect, but I believe there is someone who is perfect for everyone. I am not exactly where I want to be in life yet, but I press everyday toward my mark!Life is very demanding. I understand that, but if you do not plan to make time for a relationship, please don't waste my time.Anything you want to know...just ask. I enjoy a wide variety of activities, food, and music. I just moved back to FL from very,rural VA and all I can say is,"It's good to be back! What was I thinking?!"-a touch of insanity here! I've been looking for work with not a lot of success but am positive something will eventually come together. I've done mostly customer service,such as serving,retail sales,etc.. I am definitely a 'people person'. So,having said that,I have also enrolled in classes online. Having a lot of spare time on my hands,lately I've been making jewelry and cooking,two of my favorite things to do. But, I certainly wouldn't object to someone cooking for me or going out to dinner!!!lol [had some of that in VA by the way!] I mostly listen to classic rock,being from that era,but am open to some alternative[20 yr. old son] and a very little hip-hop[32 yr. old daughter] Although I enjoy the time I spend with my kids and the dogs,I'd enjoy having someone my age to talk to. Yes,it's hard to believe I'm 54,which most people say I don't look or act like!! Of course, they might be just being nice! I've found with age comes the wisdom to stay serene as possible and stay away from drama! It's been a while because I've been so busy rearranging my life. But,I'd love for someone to wine and dine me! Include a lot of conversation and a midnite stroll on the beach.
