I'm an easy going person who enjoys going with the moment. If you're going to put me in a box, then I suppose I belong in the "spontaneous" box, because I hate being constricted or tied down (for this purpose anyway) by a schedule. We all have to have schedules for some life events, but it's the unscheduled parts of life that, at least for me, are the most fulfilling. Laughing and being playful are two of my greatest joys and I try to surround myself with others who enjoy that as well or whom enhance that quality in myself. I tend to be a risk taker as well, though I'm not foolish with it.I have great duality in my personality. On the one hand, I'm the poster child for hopeless romantics. I love spending time with my someone special, making dinner, enjoying long walks in the mountains or at the shore, dancing at the spur of the moment for no particular reason except to hold someone close, snuggling on the sofa as we watch a movie (and I do like other types of movies than "chick flicks") and doing silly little surprises to let you know I'm thinking about you. On the other hand, I like a little spice in my life and have been known to deviate a little to the left of norm, if you know what I mean....lol. If you don't know exactly what I'm alluding to...well, just ask!!I have a curious mind and am always thinking about something. I enjoy learning new things.I'm definitely an affectionate person. I've always been touchy/feely with my friends and whomever I may be dating. I have no problems with public displays of affection and love snuggling or cuddling. However, I'm not looking for a friends with benefits/sex only situation, so if that's what you want, look elsewhere.I have a variety of interests including: music, watching movies, photography, reading on my kindle fire, exploring new places, intelligent conversation, good wine and food, jazz festivals, museums, history, architecture, culture, art, board games, drives to nowhere, picnics by a lake or in a park and a few other things that one doesn't necessarily discuss in polite company.Anyone with a quick wit and intelligent conversation is bound to get my attention, for I seem to have little use for those who can not carry on decent discourse. I just moved back to FL from very,rural VA and all I can say is,"It's good to be back! What was I thinking?!"-a touch of insanity here! I've been looking for work with not a lot of success but am positive something will eventually come together. I've done mostly customer service,such as serving,retail sales,etc.. I am definitely a 'people person'. So,having said that,I have also enrolled in classes online. Having a lot of spare time on my hands,lately I've been making jewelry and cooking,two of my favorite things to do. But, I certainly wouldn't object to someone cooking for me or going out to dinner!!!lol [had some of that in VA by the way!] I mostly listen to classic rock,being from that era,but am open to some alternative[20 yr. old son] and a very little hip-hop[32 yr. old daughter] Although I enjoy the time I spend with my kids and the dogs,I'd enjoy having someone my age to talk to. Yes,it's hard to believe I'm 54,which most people say I don't look or act like!! Of course, they might be just being nice! I've found with age comes the wisdom to stay serene as possible and stay away from drama! Staying tuned for more wisdom!* I've just updated my profile....actually moved back in March ***,so am back to feeling like a true Floridian! lol First date? Hmm! It's been a while because I've been so busy rearranging my life. But,I'd love for someone to wine and dine me! Include a lot of conversation and a midnite stroll on the beach. I love to laugh,so there would definitely have to be some humor and fun involved. I can also be a bit adventuresome and like to live in the moment.
