I'm a divorced woman with one child who is in college. I like to read, golf (poorly), downhill ski (slowly), cook for friends and you, my specailty is baking cookies. I like to attend concerts, theater, movies and sporting events. I would like to travel more than I have and see the world. I have seen lots of the US but not much of the rest of our planet and am ready to do so. I love to fly and drive. I have lots of friends, both men and women, but have not dated since the early 80s, before my marriage - thinking it might be time to try it out again. I think I am ready to have a relationship now. I like many types of music, mostly classical and rock and some southern rock. Honesty is very important to me and I would like to meet someone with a sense of humor.     I'm a busy single mom. I have two teenagers, one girl, one boy. I don't smoke and I don't play around with drugs. I actually have a good time stone cold sober and can amuse myself with my own thoughts for quite a while--I can even amuse others with my thoughts at times!I enjoy country music and can sing along with many of the songs on the radio, although I only do that in the privacy of my car, when driving alone. I don't sing well, so I make up for it by singing loudly, and no one I know well enough to have in my car deserves to be subjected that particular torture.I'm a big believer in treating others as I'd like to be treated, so I try to be kind and helpful and just plain old nice most of the time, but I do have a smart mouth sometimes. It's part of my charm!I can hang out with just about anybody, but if I were dating a guy, I'd like him to be tall and without facial hair. I just hate beards and mustashes--although I sort of like the old 5 o'clock shadow.
