I am a widow and I have 1 daughter that just returned home from Army training on her 20th birthday! I absolutely love all children and they love me too! They keep me "Young at Heart" and many refer to me as a "Kid Magnet"!! I provide Child Care during the day and by night I am a Dance ***! I'm so excited that along with the Dance Studio where I teach, I am celebrating my 40th Anniversary of teaching dance!! :) I am a very kind, caring and compassionate person and people constantly tell me that I have the "Patience of a Saint"! I am also a very honest, down to earth and responsible woman with a good sense of humor and respect for others as well as their feelings. I value my family and friends immensely! I am very appreciative of what others do for me and I of course ALWAYS reciprocate every kind deed! I am "up with the times" yet a bit "old-fashioned" as well. I place a lot of importance on keeping my family traditions alive and my specialty is preparing/serving all the ethnic foods on Christmas Eve ...my favorite Holiday of the year! I have "varied" interests and I always dress according to the occasion! I enjoy going to casinos, movies, dining out, day/weekend trips, relaxing by a lake or on the beach, picnics, festivals, yard sales/flea markets, amusement parks and more but I am always willing to try new things too! I am a "Jack of ALL Trades" and a master at pretty many with the exception of anything electrical or car repairs!! LOL! I'm NOT afraid to get my hands dirty!! I can do anything from cooking, cleaning and sewing to gardening and home improvements! As far as T.V. shows, I like Sitcoms, Home Improvement Shows, the Food Channel, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, a good Drama and anything to do with Dance! I love music and since it goes with my job, I enjoy all types of music with the exception of Heavy Metal ...but I could bend a bit on that! I believe that COMMUNICATION is the key to any GREAT relationship and romance is very important to me as well. I'm the type to leave little notes or small gifts to surprise my partner but expect that they would do the same for me. I also LOVE preparing special romantic dinners every now and then with a beautifully set table, candlelight, good food, wine and soft music. I'm looking for a SPECIAL man that knows how to treat a lady and I am the type of lady to give my partner lots of TLC!! I want a "MAN" that is HONEST, RESPECTFUL, CARING & CONSIDERATE. I have many good qualities and I'm in search of a partner that has those same qualities too ...someone who doesn't play mind games, lie, cheat, etc... and would like to take the time to get to know me and see where it might lead.     I have never been accused of being a wall flower! I love to meet people and was raised by very socialable parents who entertained frequently and taught their daughters how to throw a decent party, treat their guests right and really enjoy themselves. I taught swimming for little ones(pee-wees) years ago and parlayed that into teaching water aerobics for the past 20 plus years. It's a great way to keep in shape, receive a free gym membership and get paid to work out and have fun. I love music and cannot imagine my life without melodies in it. Blues, country, classic rock are all good . . . I like to volunteer and help seniors/shut-ins - most I've met over the years when they were younger and more mobile and took my water classes. Now I stop in and visit and see how they are managing. It's very rewarding ***day I'll be old and hope someone does the same for me.I should mention that I've shuffled in between 'blue' and 'white' collared worlds all my life and I'm very comfortable in both. But at the end of the day, I know I'm attracted to smart people and that's nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, I'd hate to be the smartest person in the room all the time! lol Truthfully, it's been so long since I had a really enjoyable date-date that I wish I could brag on and on and blah blah blah. But mostly, if a guy has a plan, I don't give a damn where he takes me or how little or much he spends, as long as he had a plan and made me feel special. I would definitely shave my legs and put on a nice outfit! That's a promise ***and I'll make you laugh ***that's a promise too!AND IF YOU ARE IN YOUR 20'S OR 30'S - PLEASE MOVE ON. I AM LOOKING FOR A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP AND DATING A YOUNG MAN LESS THAN HALF MY AGE IS NOT MY DESIRE.
