Just started my thirty-fourth year of teaching! Love what I do - 8th graders keep you on your toes and make every day special. I think I learn from them as much as they learn from me. But teaching isn't enough and so I'm trying this again.....it's from the heart. I'm honest, everlastingly faithful, true-hearted, and hard-working. I need to have more fun, but that's where you come in, right? I'm affectionate and passionate about those I love and the things I care about. I'm blessed to have a great family, two children I'm incredibly proud of, precious friends, and a great job. Our pictures on here, our smiles, something in the eyes attract us initially, but that's just the beginning. It's not just chemistry - it's also about the spiritual, emotional, and mental connection. I'd love to find someone with whom there's a "click" The man I'm searching for is smart, strong, devoted to his family, positive, and honorable. Being a man of your word, one that others respect and enjoy being around - those are qualities that greatly appeal to me. I'm a communicator - educated and articulate - and I appreciate that in others. I love all the ways that people who care about each other can communicate, whether it's with a smile, a gentle touch, a text, or a quick call just to say you're thinking about someone. I'm definitely a people person and love getting out and doing all those spectacular things you guys talk about in your profiles, but the truth is I'm just as much a homebody. I think "home" should be where you're happiest. I am a Christian and my faith strengthens me and gives me hope.     I am a very happy person; I can have a good time doing just about anything. I laugh at jokes, myself and sometimes life in general. I will try just about anything once unless it involves heights. I see no reason to jump out of a perfectly working airplane… I have a nice life; I have an education, a job I love, and my own home and I raised a terrific kid and now her friend as well. I love spending time with family, friends and animals. I love quiet nights in or out with someone special. I miss the conversations that go from funny to deep to giggles. I want fun and laughter back, I would like to travel some, I have worked way to hard in the past so it is time for me to enjoy life and I would like to have someone to join me. Maybe that could be you? We could meet for a drink maybe someplace quiet so we could talk. Maybe a walk after just because we want to keep talking.
