Aside from my garden and yard, which I love to be out working in during the summer, my kitchen is my second "home", as I love to cook, bake, and entertain.I realize that without having that special someone to share little things with, I am not truly happy. Having someone to snuggle with, talk about your day with, just knowing you have someone waiting for you at the end of the day - that's what makes life special. Someone who enjoys staying in or going out and hanging with friends... someone who appreciates simple things...someone who isn't afraid to be romantic and show affection. I love holding hands, cuddling, touching, hugs, kisses, just being close. I go to church with my son a couple times a month, I have two cats and a small dog, and am very fortunate in that I actually enjoy my job which is only located 15 minutes away from my home. Wow.......this is the tough part. I am who I am. How's that? Just kidding! I am beginning the second part of my life and I would like to actually enjoy it with someone. I love my kids with all my heart, but have enough of my heart left for one lucky man. :) To spend the day at an event of one of our children or staying home and cooking together seems ideal to me. Dancing in the living room or flirting at the park..........awesome times await us. It's worrisome to think that I may have to go through the best years of my life alone. I am so ready to be a kid again; to love to the fullest. I could say that I am like other women......and at one point in my life I may have had a common trait or two. However, I pride myself on being who I am..........kind, somewhat quiet and shy at first, funny (sarcastic at times), affectionate, low-maintenance, high drive for adventure..........Yes, I am separated. Some of you know what a long drawn out process it can be. However, my life is not at a stand-still. :-) I think that is up to us!

Hi there, thank you for your interest. I am a fairly active person and I work out regularly. I had been self employed for the last 17 years and I had recently sold my buisness. I took the opportunity to travel and relax a bit as I was not intending to retire. I did want some change in what I had been doing so it is a bit of an exciting time in my life. I have found a job in a totally different line of work which has kept my interest . I am not quite sure what the future holds but I seem to be doing just fine . I would like to find someone special to share the moments with , as it does get a little lonely on my own sometimes . Most of you will know what i mean . Ok alone but ..I am interested in finding someone who is down to earth , witty, smart, kind, honest,funny and pretty much takes things as they are. Someone who does not sweat the small stuff. This is not a shopping list but some qualities I admire and enjoy in people. I have been single for quite some time and have dated some great people, but it would be nice to find someone special to share my time with. I love to laugh , travel ,be active and have adventures . I enjoy boating of all kinds and I do own a kayak which I use. I can dress up or down , depending on the occasion and I enjoy myself most places I go. I like to dance. I have also been told I am stubborn ( Irish ancestors) but I have always thought that was positive. Hmmm? I have also been told I am a good sport which I believe is very true.
