I'm back again after taking a break from Plenty of Fish. I lost some of the mail sent to me, people who favourited me and people who used the "Meet Me" feature. Personality-wise, I would describe myself as an introspective sort, sometimes serious and intense, other times more laid back and easy-going. I have been labeled shy at times, but I consider myself more quiet-natured and reserved, with an occasional need for solitude and contemplation. I'm a positive person, an optimist, quiet at first when I meet someone, until I get to know them. I've been told I have a great sense of humour and a great smile. I'm honest to a fault and I don't play games. I consider myself intelligent. I have an interest in pursuing conversation on a variety of topics. I have a naturally inquisitive mind and I'm always asking questions. I love to travel and explore but love it less so by myself. Music is one of my passions ..... it inspires me. I grew up on rock & roll but I love all music that moves me, emotionally and/or literally. I’m not a bar person, but love live bands. I play the guitar.I also like to just hang out at home and chill.....reading, playing my guitar, Internet surfing, watching TV, or listening to music. Just relax & enjoy life. I love spending rainy or winter stormy days in bed with a newspaper or good book and a cup of coffee or tea. My philosophy of life is rooted in social justice and human dignity. I'm a very tolerant, understanding person. I feel that all people are valuable and much can be learned from others if we remain open. Tolerance of others, especially those society has marginalized, is one of my greatest virtues. I’m looking for a kind and intelligent man. Who is interested in forming a friendship first, and using that foundation to build a long-term relationship. Lasting love takes time and I'd like to get to know someone and let things take their natural course. You should be no more eager to rush into things than I am, and will truly understand that.     First just let me say, I have an awesome job that I absolutely love. That being said...Lets see, hobbies: I collect crystals and gemstones for meditation, healing purposes and beauty. Being a musician I also tune in to orchestra the public radio station plays in the afternoon. Wishy washy, no. Being good to myself, yes!I like camping, hiking, festivals/fairs, occasionally drag out my bicycle, like the water, and most sports. I bowl on 2 leagues. I have traveled and seen some amazing sights and I will someday see more! I can be comfortable in jeans and a tee digging around in the dirt or dressed to the nines. Depends on what's on the agenda!
