I am a happy, friendly person that likes to walk, hike, bike, down-hill or cross- I don't watch a lot of TV. Usually if I have down-time I prefer to read a book.I love a good laugh, so meeting someone who finds humor in the same things I do is really important. A clever man with a quick wit and a funny story to tell will get my attention.I have a steady, secure job that is challenging but interesting. I work hard, but at the end of the day, I can leave my job behind. I like to volunteer when I can at events such as Wendy's Dream-lift Day or the Winter Special Olympics.I usually listen to CBC radio, or the "Classic Rock" station, but I enjoy most music. Not too fond of Jazz though.I exercise regularly and eat right to keep myself healthy. I love eating out in a nice restaurant, but I also like to prepare a simple dinner at home with someone special. I prefer a man who is confident and can make decisions. It is very appealing to me when a man is handy with tools and machinery. I've learned how to fix things around the house and I enjoy having to make a trip to the hardware store. I occasionally stop at garage sales and love a good bargain. To me, "handsome" is a man who keeps himself clean and well-groomed and has a great smile. He's probably most comfortable in jeans, but doesn't mind dressing up a little on occasion. I am looking for a man who wants to have an active, trusting, affectionate, sensual, loyal partner in life, with a connection to each other that grows stronger and stronger with time. I think the best first date is a nice walk. Meeting for coffee or a drink would be good too, but walking seems to be the easiest way to have a relaxed conversation.

So I take each day and continue to move forward with both feet and enjoy all that life has to offer.(and there is a ton to enjoy) I love weekend getaways, heading out for the night, cooking together,or just relaxing cuddled up at home sharinga nice bottle of wine. My original goal was(certificate in Crim. and Business) was law , the system and had many yearsworking in the courts while going to college. And I am still hooked on changing our laws. Yet,I have remained in the Hospitality industry(Hotel)and have been on the management end for over 20 years now. Love it as it has worked for me. And have the opportunityto meet people from all over the world. I have a wonderful, close family,great friends, but feel someone is missing. I am looking for friendship at this time with hopes of it developing into something more down the road. I want to grow young with someone who wants just be spontaneous and just go with a whim whenwe want to. I have two wonderful children who are my life and I am am so proud to be their mom. And they are both very successful in life.They are at an age now they have lives of there own. I miss making lunches, being a taxi driver and all the responsibilties of a parent.Callme crazy.They will always remain my top priority. I do now though have time to share with someone special. A crazy romantic in many ways and love to spoil the one I am with. Been awhile so look out. One last note. I am in good shape, but still have the odd cigarette. I do understandthose that find it a bad quality and I respect that, as I am not very proud of it myself.But in the same respect I am happy with who I am. Lets meet and take it from there. I am not one to sit at Starbucks for hours. Would rather do a walk, meet for a bev,driving range, what ever we both decide. Just meet and see.

    Yes, I know its not all fun and games.....really? Maybe I should get rid of some of my shoes (sandals, hiking boots,ski boots, runners, heels, curling, golf)? But then I wouldn't be smiling in my pictures. Yes, I do play hockey but not the kind you're thinking of. Looking forward to all the great fall and winter activities our beautiful province has to offer.Work lots with kids both in my job and also as a volunteer. I found myself totally envious of them. They had both found life partners who share the same adventures and love and support each other in their pursuits.
