I enjoy free-spirted people who like to have fun. I enjoy the beach, woods, music and gardening. I am looking for a person who is honest, hard working, yet still enjoy life. I would like to find a long-term relationship. Must be a non-smoker and not married, please do not reply if you are these two things. I love children and like to have special family cookouts and family dinners. I like to hold hands and walking by the water or fair or the fesivals.

I had this all filled out and then deleted it. I just want to say that it doesn't matter rather you meet someone in a bar are on a dating site. Things always seem the same. I have met two men on this site and neither one of them ever called me again after we met. I'm not a Barbie doll by no means. But there was a time in my life when I used to shine. And just remember if you want Barbie. You need to be ken. I don't understand what men are looking for in a woman. I would just like to meet a man who is not looking for Barbie. I think it's so rude to not answer a message. Even if you don't like the looks of the person that is sending it. A real man knows how to treat a lady even if he's not attracted to her. Okay. I just wanted to vent. I think it just depends on the person...maybe out to eat, just to talk and get to know each other...a baseball/football game would be nice also...lol

...while you peruse my profile and sneak a peek at what makes me tick. (A girl can dream, can't she?)One of the nicest compliments I ever received was: "When you come to visit, it feels like Tinker Bell has sprinkled happy fairy dust all over our house and it lasts for weeks." I enjoy cooking and baking for those who appreciate it. I am a monogamous, down to earth, intelligent woman with simple tastes--who would have chosen "heavyset" as my description but only "bbw" was available (darn it). I do not wear flashy clothes or expensive lingerie and I do not need diamonds or jewels. These trappings do not define me. However, I have an eye for taste and would not hesitate to hang a painting by Monet on my wall.-tub). I can rough-it...within limits... ha ha ha.;home" for visits especially in the spring and fall, but winter is very lovely as well. And, for star-gazing, country places are the best places.I enjoy many genres of music-- My current favorite movie is Silver Linings Playbook. As for books, I love to read romance, drama, thriller, who-dun-its, and am currently reading "Literature, An Introduction To Fiction, Poetry, Drama And Writing."I would like to meet a monogamous, self-supportive, good man who enjoys some of the same interests as me, a man who has a quick smile, honest eyes, integrity, a loving hand and a positive outlook on life. Though I am no raving beauty, he would look into my heart and see the gold within my soul. He would enjoy woodsy walks, slow- He might find sunrises equally as lovely as sunsets, and he would hopefully enjoy watching a good snow or lightning storm and listening to the sounds of rolling thunder with his partner by his side. He would have a sense of humor and possess the ability to laugh at himself, as I do myself quite frequently. This man would know, as I do, that you can't get to a long term relationship without building a foundation upon friendship first.I would like to leave you with this haunting poem by Ted Kooser titled:Abandoned FarmhouseHe was a big man, says the size of his shoeson a pile of broken dishes by the house;a tall man too, says the length of the bedin an upstairs room; and a good, God-fearing man, says the Bible with a broken backon the floor below the window, dusty with sun;A woman lived with him, says the bedroom wallpapered with lilacs and the kitchen shelvescovered with oilcloth, and they had a child, says the sandbox made from a tractor tire. And the winters cold, say the rags in the window frames. It was lonely here, says the narrow country road.Something went wrong here, says the empty housein the weed-choked yard.; the still-sealed jarsin the cellar say she left in a nervous haste. And the child? Its toys are strewn in the yardlike branches after a storm--a rubber cow,a rusty tractor with a broken plow,a doll in overalls. Something went wrong here, they say.The bottom line to end this on: I am halfway through my life and longing to find my one true love. A great first date for me is easy-going, laid-back conversation over drinks (hot or cold) and any one, or a few, of the "interests" I've listed above.
