About Me

Remember Superman?Faster than a speeding bullet.More powerful than a locomotive.Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. The one super power he possessed that impressed me the most was the ability to change clothes in a phone booth. Have any of you guys tried to put on a pair of tights in a phone booth? Shoot, I need at least a 10'-10' area to accomplish that feat. I wonder where he changes clothes today. Although if the iphone gets any larger Apple will have to re-introduce the booth. If Superman had a profile on meetville how would he represent himself? The guy with morning breath, pet hair on the furniture, a bathtub ring and occasional science project in the fridge? The guy who gets upset when his favorite team loses or his best friend betrays him?Or would he be the larger than life, unavailable, and secretive Super Hero? The guy who's life is perfect and shiny like a new silver dollar? He's always in control, never feels angry. His dog never pukes on the carpet, he never loses his keys, has never had a bad haircut or overdrawn his bank account. His life is a well oiled machine; smooth and efficient. He was down to earth and approachable and in the end he was the man who won her heart.Prolonged contact with Kryptonite is the one thing that makes Superman weak. What is your kryptonite? What do you have crawling around inside your clothes that keeps you from being the best that you could be? Lust? Dishonesty? Pride? Desperation? Greed? Opportunistic behavior? One of mine is the inability to distinguish fools gold from the real thing.ABOUT ME:There are some who look down their noses at my type of work. I put in 12 hr days 4 days a week caring for a blind Alzheimer patient. It's difficult physically and emotionally, and the pay is low. It is a job most could not or would not be capable of doing. While most are sitting at their desk staring at their computer screens, I am on my feet: caring. When others are ready to stand and play, I am ready to sit and breath. I spend my first day off recouping. This usually involves sitting, working on a project, or strolling around the yard enjoying the fresh air. Then there are errands to run, bills to pay and things to clean. That leaves me a day to enjoy. As much as I love to help, I am unable to take on someone else's responsibilities at this time. So I won't ask you to work on my car if you don't ask me to clean your house.I put my dreams aside to raise my boys, so now I enjoy spending time alone working on my writing. I recently became interested in photography and plan to pursue classes. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, Frisbee, badminton, festivals, live theater, art museums, golf, swimming, walking thru cornfields, eating peanut butter from a spoon, laughing with friends and movies that make me think, or keep me on the edge of my seat.At the risk of sounding selfish; I have spent most of my life taking care of others and now I am looking for someone who is able to give of themselves unselfishly. I'm not looking to be taken care of, just cared for. It's important to me that you have a favorite restaurant you enjoy visiting, I also have one I enjoy. I care that you like your coffee a certain way, and I like mine a certain way as well. I would like to find someone who understands that I have different interest, different likes and dislikes. At times I would like to share those things with this person as I would want them to share their interest with me, other times I would like to go it alone. I would like to find a friend first and see if it evolves into a partnership. I am looking for someone who can offer me good conversation, laughs and a companionship in which we both will be considered and appreciated. Actions speak louder than words. We don't know how to be alone. So we wander round this desert, and wind up following the wrong Gods home.....…..learn to be still. ~Eagles~ Surprise me, I love surprises.

Woman. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.

Looking for: man. In age: 50-60

A wise man said, "save for a rainy day, but drink the good wine today". Life should not be all about work and responsibilites. I try to seek what makes me laugh, cry, say oooh, brings joy to my heart...and to do these things often, to the best of my ability. Live music, time with good friends, and of course, good wine! A fine, handsome man: One who knows the value of a fine lady with her own brand of sassy and how to treat her. He takes good care of himself, knows how to speak his mind with diplomacy, has a witty sense of humor, and is generally a good-spirited, good-hearted, fun-loving, and did I mention, a fine, handsome man. My idea of a fun first day could be meeting for lunch on a great patio, a chat over wine and cheese, or sharing an outdoor event or concert.

I am an out-going, caring, honest, and respectful woman. I don't believe in playing games with anyone. I'm an old fashion type of person who is looking for someone to appreciate what I my have to offer in a relationship. I would like to meet a man who is honest respectful, out-going,who has a good sense of humor, a person who knows how to treat a lady. I enjoy watching sports or going to sporting events in person. Enjoy long walks, going to the movies or just having quiet time with a person watching television. Would enjoy finding a man who loves to cuddle and enjoy kisses. I enjoy wearing jeans most of the time but can dress up if necessary. Looking for someone who I can be special with. Someone who is not afraid to show feeling with each other in public and private. Don'tneed someone to take care of me, I can do that on my own, need someone to walk beside me thru the rest of my future.Love to read, do hand crafts, spending time with family. Must enjoy doing family times. I have two grown kids and five grandkids I dearly love and spend time with. Something simple. Dinner and a movie with good conversation would be nice. Meeting somewhere for coffee or drinks to get to know each other.
