About Me

I hate filling these things out because I feel like you can't really get a real feel for a person from a blurb. I'm really down to earth and laid back. I'm looking for a real relationship without any games, but I'm also not looking to just jump right into anything. I'm really close to my family...they come first. Always. I'm really just looking for someone who I can share my life with...who I can be comfortable around and who can make me happy. My life has been moving forward pretty fast in the last year and I'd like someone to share it with.

I'm an adventurous girl who is very versatile. I'm looking to take things slow and see if they will turn into something great, I am NOT looking for hook ups or flings. Somewheres public one of us might be a serial killer...

Hey guys!Things I've learned in the past 5 minutes, writing about yourself is really hard, like really really hard. I'm currently taking Sociology at Dal. I'm stuck in that awkward what in the heck and am I doing with my life, what in the heck am I going to do with a Sociology degree. To deal with this stress I pretty much just pretend my life is an episode of Girls, but lets be realistic here, I'm one bad HBO drama away from a quarter life crisis. In ten years I would hope to see myself with a job I enjoy. Long term I would ideally like to combine my love of social work and sociology with my love of communications and networking. How I'll manage this I'm not sure alternatively I'd love to own my own boutique, I haven't quite decided yet. I've been very blessed and privileged in life to have had some of the experiences I have had at such a young age. I've traveled all over the world, and been exposed to many different people, and cultures. I am an only child. My father is a foster parent and growing up in his work environment taught me to be extremely thankful for how lucky I am in life, and helped me develop an immense amount of compassion and empathy for others. This is also another driving factor as to why I would like to go into social work, because I do enjoy helping people.I like to keep a small social group, I am very lucky to have such fantastic girlfriends. I am an extremely loyal person, and the opinions of my family and friends matter to me. I'm very traditional in the sense, my parents are baby boomers and they raised me to have a great appreciation of the past. Also, I probably watch too much Mad Men. People often tell me I was born in the wrong generation. I tend to put a lot of effort into my clothing and my hair, ect. I worked full time in a high profile office. All three of these things are awful and should not be worn out of the house, unless you are actually going to yoga.I spend my spare time reading, at this time of the year unfortunately all text books but when I'm not confined to the awful university text books, I enjoy all and any of the classics. I love dogs, well animals of any sort but puppies are my specialty. Printers are awful. There is not a cup of coffee large enough that I can't and won't drink it. I also personally believe that I am the only person I've ever met that gets excited to go to bed because I know I can wake up and have more coffee. I love all things printed, there is not a pattern or print out there that I probably won't love. When I'm super sad give me a copy of Breakfast at Tiffanys and a Frank Sinatra record and you can *** my mood.I think that the most important quality in a guy is that they can make me laugh, in life I'm generally happy as long as I'm laughing. That being said almost everything makes me laugh so, it's not difficult. Also, common sense and strong head on their shoulders. I can't really explain what I would like to come from this but I'm always looking for an adventure so will see. Surprise me ;-)
