About me:- I'm 24 years old.- I live in the NW suburbs (about 35 min out from the city on depending on traffic).- I have a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology.- I have an amazing job that I am truly passionate about.- I love animals... I have cats and a 14 year old dog. - Definitely prefer action/adventure and horror movies.-- I do volunteer work quite often.- I swim laps several times a week.- I have a very small but tight-knit family. We are really close and I love them more than anything. - My mother is probably the greatest person I have ever known and I look up to her more than anyone in the world. She is my best friend and the reason I am who I am today. - My sense of humor: imgur- I just finished school and couldn't wait to read fiction again... bought a ***page book the day after graduation and read it cover to cover in about 5 hours. - On that note...- I believe you can learn something from every person you meet if you take the time to listen. - I hope to pursue my doctoral degree in child clinical psychology.. currently in the process of applying to schools.- I am probably the least spontaneous person you will ever meet.. the planner glued to my side can attest to that... (juggling work, school, volunteering, and many others things has made me this way). - I was recently offered a position as an adjunct professor and am teaching a class once a week in the city. - I will listen to just about any type of music, but I particularly love country. My favorite artist is Keith Urban....closely followed by Kenny Chesney. - I like to challenge myself to do the things I dread or fear the most.- I am quite clumsy and uncoordinated. - I love fishing, hiking, shooting, camping, and anything outdoors.- My dream vacation: hiking in the Alaskan wilderness.- I'm 100% polish but never learned the language unfortunately. - I love cooking and baking. - I prefer get togethers and game nights with friends over going to bars.- I'm a chronic over-achiever and constantly find myself saying yes to every opportunity. - I do not have a creative bone in my body.- There is not one thing in my life that I regret. Everything I have done has led me to where I am today and I would not change a thing. I'm a big fan of music. I'll listen to most anything except for country music and contemporary Christian music. I'm not a fan of either. I can't put into words how much I loathe those two genres. Even though I don't like ccm music, I do love worship music but I'm kinda picky about that too. I don't have any favorite artist or bands but I do have favorite genres. I love classical, jazz, blues, and indie pop/rock. I also really love music from the 90's/early 00's AND music from musicals/animated films.I’m looking for short term/long term dating and possibly marriage (but that's wayyyy down the road). I don't want to put that pressure on myself or the other person to make things more serious than it actually is. I truly believe if you like someone and care for someone enough the relationship will naturally progress to something more serious. I'm also not willing to be with someone just so I have a boyfriend.
