To start off, I want to say I was hesitant to join a dating site because many guys assume girls on dating sites are looking for sex. I am not. I am genuine and looking to add great people(or a great person) to my life! I am an independent woman that loves to meet new people! I completed my associate's degree in Social Work, and am currently attending another University to get my Bachelor's degree (Will graduate this summer) as an Intervention Specialist. I love working with people, and see many possibilities for my future career. I love the education field, but I also enjoy social service career options. Ultimately, I truly hope that I can impact the lives of whichever group of people I work with. I love to hike and be outdoors, but I also enjoy relaxing at home. I grew up listening to country, rap, and hip hop music, and I still enjoy all three! I love to dance and go out, but in moderation. Although I did not grow up a sports fan, in my teen years I became a HUGE Hockey fan (Go Redwings), and I also enjoy watching other sports as well. I love to laugh, and I have a genuine fun personality. Love sarcasm! I grew up with older siblings, and my family is extremely important to me. I am open to making new friends or finding a relationship! Although I really enjoy having control of my own life, I am particularly attracted to men who have motivation, ambition, and who are decisive. I would love a committed relationship if I found the right one, but in the meantime, I am loving my education, jobs, friends, and life! Why does dating have to be so complicated!!! =p To describe my dream first date, I am not sure that I would choose one specific option. I am an independent woman, but I still appreciate the tradition of a man asking a woman on a date. I would love it if a man would initiate a date and have something planned that he thought out specific for me and him. A great date for me would be something simple and thoughtful.
