I learn new things about myself and the world every day and it is a beautiful thing. One thing I do know about myself: I love to laugh and if you can make me truly and genuinely crack up, it is very easy to gain a special place in my heart. After that, I went to South Africa to work with refugees for three months, came home and did some deep soul searching. I am currently living back home and working on going back to school for Occupational Therapy! I took the long route, but am working hard every day to achieve a career I truly believe will make me happy!Aside from that I have a job at a local bank. :)I would like to think I am really good at being a true friend. I am honest, sometimes to a fault. I believe that you have to work hard to see the positive side of everything, and for a long time I tended to be a bit of a pessimist. So I think that I've learned to be good at taking life in stride and appreciating each day, and the people in it for all they have to offer.Favorite TV shows: Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Homeland, Big Bang Theory, Shameless, Game of Thrones and Newsroom are my faves :)Movies: I like all sorts of movies.).Music: I listen to everything. Quite Literally. Except for techno.Food: Favorites are sushi and Thai. Yum. But I eat (or will try) anything. I've eaten some crazy stuff, especially in South Africa!!What I'm looking for:I usually go for guys who are smarter than me, so intelligence is a must. I really appreciate someone who can make me think. I need a guy who is willing to keep me on my toes, and is also willing to dedicate much of himself to making a happy relationship. I am finished grad school and are working. I'm working towards becoming a librarian. I eventually want to get into programming and work as a web librarian. I have a huge fascination in technology and how fast our world is developing. But when I do have free time, I enjoy going for walks and being outdoors. I've always enjoyed playing sports, so I'll be the girl to go outside and toss a frisbee or football around. I've played volleyball most of my life and plan to continue to playing when I have more time. I love traveling. I have seen many countries in Europe and I still have itchings to go back. I am just about to graduate with my associates degree in Early Childhood this coming December. I am a director of a daycare and enjoy working with children. My goal is to one day open my own daycare but not until I am settled with life and spend some time traveling and enjoying what life has to offer. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I don't go out all the time but when I do I like to go out for drinks with my friends. My friends are my rock they are amazing and supportive and very down to earth just like me. Do I like dressing up and going out? Yes but I am most comfortable in my yoga pants and sweatshirt. I like spending time outside and playing sports with my family (wiffleball and flag football especially). My family is my world.. They mean more to me than anything. I grew up in a huge family with lots of cousins. I couldn't picture not having them around! As for who I'm looking for... I'm keeping my options open..
