Amish Country, but no, I am not Amish. I have a degree in Elementary Education and I volunteered at one of the city elementary schools. Now that my year-long service term is over, I was hired as a teaching assistant at the school I volunteered with. I am now a fulltime third grade teacher at a different school. With my recent jobs, I was able to move into my own apartment a few months ago. It's really exciting, but rather lonely.
