Hello! I am Sam! I am proud of both my faith and heritage; my heritage being half Irish and half Mayan. I use to be in the Service...and I did two Tours in Baghdad, Iraq, from ***, and again from ***. I am fortunate to say that I came out very successful from my time in the Middle East. I am originally from MN, and now that my military service is done, I am in MN for good. I have also traveled to many States here in the US, along with my Middle Eastern experiences. I enjoy traveling, and have seen many things, experienced a lot, and learned a lot from foreign lands. I would say that there is both a serious side of me and a very humorous side of me. I use to work with children a few years back, at various elementary schools...one of the better jobs that I have had. In terms of my interest, I enjoy to read, write, work out, go camping, hunting, road trips, traveling, study other cultures, bowling, going to both downtown and uptown, shooting, playing soccer and baseball, I love to study and watch documentaries on History, and even stuff like watching a good film or just listening to music. Some of my favorite shows are; I also enjoy reading articles about current events I would consider myself an easy going guy, while taking life serious when needed in order to be successful in life. Just like any other human in this world, I have had my moments of high success, but also my down points as well. I have indeed been through a lot throughout my years, but am grateful for what I have. Now that my Military Service is over, I plan on getting my degree in Emergency Management. I am looking for a mature, responsible woman, who believes in that respect goes both ways, a woman that knows where she is going in life, and wants to seek adventure. I grew up in rural farming community where a persons word is worth its weight in gold. Respect and trust are not just words, but traits I've practiced my whole life. I spent many years working on my grandparents farm where I learned many things some people miss out on these days, like a good work ethic and a respect for those who work sun up to sun down to put food on the table. I graduated top of my high school class and put forth an effort to obtain a bachelor's degree from NDSU (Roll Herd!). I am now putting that degree to use working an ***in the city. While the city has many things to offer, my roots are still tied to the country and the simple life I came from.I am an avid motorsport enthusiast, specifically anything involving snowmobiles or muscle cars. One might consider me a gearhead; I do my own vehicle maintenance/repairs whenever plausible. (Why spend $***for an oil change when I can do it myself for $20!) On occasion I also hunt, fish, and enjoy lakes and the activities that surround them (boating, tubing, bonfires, etc). With that being said, I also enjoy taking walks, movie nights on the couch (yes, I'm a cuddler!), and going out for a night on the town.I'm a very easy going person. Life's too short not to laugh and have fun. I like to think I'm on the tail end of a dying breed, per se'...and by that I mean I actually have and hold values; I don't play games, lie, cheat, etc. If you think talk is cheap, let's get to know each other and you'll see I'm genuine. I'm the type that can enjoy going out for drinks and country dancing one night, yet enjoy staying home for a movie the next. Want to know more? All you have to do is ask.
