I am new to the area, just moved for work. I am a writer and while my goal is to become a successful novelist, at the moment I'm working for a publisher to help with editing and whatnot. I enjoy it and also gives me a flexible schedule when not coming up on deadlines. I think I'd just like to get to know someone by talking at a coffee shop at first and hang out a little bit. I do like random adventures, so hikes and trips to events or festivals is always fun; even gone to a beer making class one afternoon just to see what it was about, as well as a wine tasting and painting class for something different to try. Trying out new places to eat or bars to check out is a good way to explore new places and get to know someone new.
