About Me

I'm a chef, so I'm very passionate about/obsessed with good food (and drink :I), especially seafood and game. I'd have to say my life seems to revolve around good food, which is awesome :) Love the great outdoors as well, hiking, cycling, camping, horseriding, kayaking, stuff like that. I'm into indie music, rock (especially classic, think Led Zepp) but prefer alt-country and post-rock music. I'm also a bit of a musician myself (just ask the neighbours) been playing drums and guitar for goodness knows how long now. Love animals, especially boxer dogs, horses and tapirs. I'm sarcastic and cynical with a dark sense of humour, but I could believe I'm one of the good guys really. I love to make people laugh as well as have a good laugh myself (but who doesn't...?)Would be nice to meet someone interesting and exciting... And dare I say it, someone who can spell and use proper grammar... Anything else you wanna know, just ask.Peace. Chilled out preferably with a nice pint (beer garden preferred) but I'm pretty open minded, I enjoy things like the theatre if you want something more sophisticated. Can't beat a nice walk though. I love learning/experiencing new things, so if you want to share some of your interests thats great!

    Hi, i'm DarrenI work in IT which is a bit different from my childhood aspirations of becoming an astronaut or Power Ranger. Nonetheless, I like to help people so this is a fitting tonic for me. I love animals so my ideal job would be IT support in a zoo but this is proving quite hard to find..........it seems gorillas haven't taken to PC's just yet.So a few things about me then.....I wear glasses full time, I have a black and grey half-sleeve tattoo on my right arm and I am a complete teetotaller and have been for four years now. I have no problem with anyone that wants to drink alcohol, it is just a personal decision made after a rather heavy night out once. I'm also a big swimming fan and try to go a couple of times a week. Swimming and playing guitar are my vices.Aside from this i'm probably a bit of a geek and fill my life with movies, music, documentaries, guitar, singing, drums and killing...............only one of those is a joke.
