About Me

What I'm looking for:I'm looking for someone who likes to get out of the house and actually do things!! Obviously not all the time, it's good to take it easy. I'm definitely looking for a woman whos fit! There are a lot of things I'd like to do like hitting up a climbing wall, going for runs, biking...Someone whos informed and educated. You don't need to be the smartest gal on the planet, but at least have some sort of opinion and know what's going on in the world. And you've got to want to travel.Lastly, I'd like a woman who values her independance. I don't want some crazy stage 5 clinger whos going to be calling me every 5 mins. Give me some space, I'll give you yours. I'd like to have a best friend, not someone that wants me to babysit them 'round the clock.I've lived with girlfriends in the past, I'd like to slow things down. I'm open to taking trips and getting to know ya, just understand that if after 2 months you're expecting us to move in and 'start our life together', I'll probably say no. So, that's what I want but at the same time I'm open to meeting new people. I put 'wants to date but nothing serious' because ya never know, maybe we'll click really well with some things but not others. It takes years to truly get to know another human being because we all have our own experiences and opinions! I'm not saying I'm not down to date, I'm looking! Present me with an argument and enlighten me. Challenge me.Random info about me: I'm athletic, not necessarily into sports however every now and then you'll find me running or working out. I used to be on a swim team and really enjoy hitting the pool. I'm outdoorsy. Nothing better than throwing the sleeping bags in the bag of the truck and heading out somewhere for the weekend. Can't forget the fishing rods either.I work full time Mon-Thur and have my weekends off, its a night shift from 430pm-3am. I like to come home, hang out and relax like any normal person. Maybe have a beer and play guitar for a bit. On that note, playing guitar is one of many hobbies I have. I've been getting into a lot more classical and the occasional country song lately.I was in the military for 3 years, in Shilo. I'm out now because I completed my 3 year contract, and that was more than enough for me.I'm a pretty fun loving guy, enjoy joking around and laughing a lot. If you take life too serious and stress too much about every little thing you'll find yourself 6ft under a lot faster than.. well, someone who just enjoys the little things and loves to laugh. Haha. Obviously there's a time for being serious and I understand that, relax. Anything goes! I'm a pretty open guy, don't think that there should be any pressure or expectations for a first date. I'd say grab a beer, coffee or bite to eat and get to talk a bit. See if there's any connection. If you've got something you'd like to suggest then I'm all ears and am down for it.
