Well, I'm a down to earth individual first off. I don't lead a super exciting life but I live comfortably and I enjoy what I do for a living as far as work is concerned. I enjoy going staying in as much as I enjoy going out. I prefer a quieter location than a bar with some horrible dj or lame band. I do enjoy going to the copper dragon and seeing Mike & Joe and Hairbangers Ball. In life, I pretty well know where i'm going based off where I have already been. I have spent most of my young life in the military and deployed overseas. I enjoyed my time in the service but I'm glad to be out and home as well. I enjoy cooking, grilling, trying new wines, beers, whiskeys, cigars and all sorts of different consumables : ) For fun, I spend a lot of time on my guitar or laying on the couch watching a movie. I enjoy spending time outdoors rock climbing, trail running, camping, fishing, hunting, repelling, surviving. I try to see my family as much as I can but I doubt I see them as much as they like. I enjoy traveling and taking off for the weekend where ever the wind may take me. At the same time, I enjoy staying home and spending the weekend cooking, drinking and laughing!As far as music is concerned, I'll listen to damn near anything as long as I can connect with it.I would say what makes me most unique is the fact that I'm perceived as a rough neck...when in actuality, around the edges, yes I'm rough and have many scars of both love and war, but I'm a kind, gentle hearted person who is hard working, dedicated, educated, loving individual who has been burned time and time again. My problem is that I sometimes trust the wrong person, although I've never been wrong with my intuition. I would say, for my first date, I would take her on the wine trails on sunny warm Saturday afternoon. In the evening, we would start to unwind with a meal somewhere; it doesn't have to be fancy but something that we both enjoy and that we could critique! lol While at dinner and obviously throughout the day, I would want to have meaningful conversation. After dinner, depending on how the day went, we would return home to watch a movie, listen to music and have nice glass of wine. And before the end of the evening, I would hope to kiss this mystery woman...I'm in the opinion that you learn more about a persons heart and intentions through a kiss than you can through talking.Now I will say this, I am one who certainly doesn't expect sex on the first date. I'm here to find a partner, not a one night stand.
