I don't know quite how to describe myself, honestly. I would consider myself to be easy-going, fun loving, and thrilled by holding conversation. I'm passionate, dedicated and extremely loyal. I love affection and am really looking for a quality connection, not just a fool around buddy. I am heavily career oriented right now, but that doesn't mean I don't make the time for the occasional date, or socializing. My life is a balance of work and play. I've come a long with the work I've been doing, and I'm pretty proud of that. The kind of guy I'm seeking should have a glow around him. What the hell does that mean, you say? I'll tell you. Someone who can really talk deeply. Someone who likes new things and sharing old things. Someone who doesn't have all of the answers. I am both a cautious adventurer and a decadent neurotic. Maybe you should be too.. If you're not, that's just fine. I'm a sucker for a bright smile and deep eyes...I realize I have way too many pictures of me taken by my cellphone but I'm too lazy to go into the other room and get my actual camera :-P For a first date, I think the best thing will be to talk. Nothing too serious, nothing too deep, just to see if a connection is there. From there, I think that a relationship should grow. Maybe going out to eat, walking around somewhere, etc. :-)

I think I'm a nice, charming, laid-back person and I really like it when people can be themselves around me. I value nice weather, spending time with family and friends, traveling (I get to travel pretty frequently, for both business and pleasure), and new experiences ;)I've lived in DC for 3 years now. I like it, there are definitely some wonderful things about DC, but in my opinion the cost of rent is absolutely not worth it. I definitely don't see myself settling down here. People are too high-strung, obsessed with work, and always in a hurry. I also don't like how pretentious some people can be here (cliquey, obsessed with appearances, etc...). Ideally I would be somewhere much more laid back and less crowded. I've lived in cities for the last 7 years, and now I really appreciate going home and smelling the fresh air, going outside at night and hearing NOTHING but the crickets, etc. The west coast is definitely on my radar for the future.
