About Me

I graduated with a degree in film, full of ambitions of writing for television. Long story short, I had to put that on pause and find a new direction. What does a pseudo-hipster, godless- I joined the Army, of course. Cause how is that NOT the most logical next step? Not really, I'll just stare at them blankly while shaking my head in mild disapproval. I don't really keep up with sports, but I claim the Steelers and Pens as my teams if someone asks. This usually backfires completely once they try to discuss things further.I love movies, as one would expect. Some of my favorite films are Taxi Driver, Requiem for a Dream, and Children of Men. What can I say? I prefer happy, uplifting films. Favorite TV shows include The Shield, Arrested Development, Supernatural, Generation Kill, Boardwalk Empire and Strike Back, among MANY others.Music is a huge part of my life. My main interest is metal, but I enjoy almost all genres in some capacity. Favorites include: Lamb of God, Bloc Party, Deftones, A Day To Remember, Childish Gambino, Trivium, and Chevelle. I also play guitar, though not exceptionally well. Still love it though.I try to read, but its hit and miss and, lately, primarily non-fiction books about the world of intelligence. Entertainment and research all in one. I also love comics. Not superheroes stuff, just really well told stories, usually on the grittier, more realistic side.When I'm by myself, one of my favorite things is to just find a comfortable chair at a coffee shop and work on my journal or whatever book/magazine I'm working on. When I'm with friends, I'm not that picky, cause either way I'm getting to spend time with my homies. I'm pretty outspoken about my opinions and worldview and make no apologies, but I do try to be respectful of other's views, as long as the respect is returned.

    Hi, im a 25 year old single father of 2. I have a 6 year old daughter, vanessa, she has been through a number of medical procedures mainly heart surgeries, shes been thriving very well with no more expected surgeries. i have a 5 year old son,anders II spitting image of me..both my kids are my world, i have had care of them since me and their mom split in december, we are currently pretty civil for the kids, so not too much drama to worry about there, but i expect to maintain primary custody of them, so if you dont love kids im not a good fit for you. have a number of construction trades and am currently working for a remodling/renovations job. Taste in movies and music is very broad, just about anything..cannot stand to watch sports, just has always bored me. most of my time is spent with my children when im not working, but love to get out when im able, shoot pool, go movies, open and enjoy a wide variety of things, mainly pretty typical stuff. honesty and faithfulness are extremely important, i enjoy games but not when it comes to relationships. i guess anything i left out that you would like to know just ask. ;) Ideally anything that allows us to talk and get to know each other, find out each others wants and expectations, enjoy most all kinds of food and resturaunts, most importantly have a good time even if we dont decide we are a good fit, my time is valuable to me and i would be happy to have just enjoyed the night out even if it doesnt go anywhere.
