Maybe a nice restaurant, a coffee house, a walk in the park - or all three, if we enjoy each others company.I enjoy a good movie, but a downside to going to a movie on a first date is that we really couldn't have a conversation during it. I'd also like to get to know you on a first date. What motivates you? Art, books, cars, whatever. Everyone has something they're passionate about, and I want to hear about it.

A good fantasy movie or science fiction is great as well. I am more of a music person, so going to see live music, sit in a coffee house and listen to someone play is always enjoyable. I don't go very often but mini golf, bowling, or that sort of thing is also fun to do.
