I believe in honesty-always! I love to laugh and have fun but are not really into the bar scene. I try to stay active however I can and enjoy many different activities, both inside and out, from racing motorcycles to playing cards and about everything in between. The beach, the mountains or just traveling to see sights I haven't seen before or have already seen a time or two. I don't do drugs or drink heavily not to say I don't tie one on occasionally, but it has been a while. I have lots of friends and enjoy their company and doing things with them but don't "live my life with them". My family is more important. I work hard and like to enjoy my time off. I'm trustworthy, honest and faithful. I am a one woman man and expect the same in return. I'm looking for a long term relationship but not in a hurry to get married, yet. Like to find someone with some brains as well as being attractive, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Definately someone who can be faithful and have fun together...I like spontaneity in a woman, not affraid of public shows of affection and one that can communicate without holding back, (no secrets, no surprises) and doesn't mind taking off for the weekend on a whim. About me; Im an easy going, down to earth kinda guy. I like to stay active, and like doing just about anything. I have a 13 year old daughter that I love very much. I have joint AND equal custody of her, meaning I get her half the time. I like to joke around and have fun. Im an animal lover although I dont have any pets at this time. My passion is motorcycles. I have street bikes, and dirt bikes. I love to hit the road on a nice day and head to the Parkway or anywhere else for that matter. I also like to dirt ride and race motocross occassionally. I am currently recovering from rotator cuff surgery, brought on by racing motocross....lol, so the dirt bike is collecting a little dust. Im just not ready to call it quits. I guess Im picky about who I am looking for, as everyone should be. I have been on here a while now, and although I appreciate all the people that have shown interest in me, they weren't what I am looking for. And I guess the same goes for those that I contacted, I wasnt what they were looking for. End result is that I hid my profile and have just about quit looking on here. I am looking for someone that is somewhere around my age (give or take) that likes to stay active, doing various things. Someone that is looking for the long term, and in the future, possibly getting married, and that wouldnt mind having my teen aged daughter around (half the time). I am also a northern transplant, been in the area now about 23 yrs, raised in the mid-west. Ive figured out that sometimes you have to go a little deeper than what appears on the outside to see the real person. As I believe I have passed up some real gems, just because they didnt shine as I thought they should or as I may of wanted them to. At our age, it ought to be more about what really matter than what others may see...... I wish everyone the best of luck on their fishing trip. Hello, I'm a fun loving Harley enthusiast, or biker if you prefer. I'm hoping to meet a woman who wants to get out and have some fun, a partner for bike rides, bbqs, parties and just hanging out. I don't want to limit myself by saying that I just want to date, because I still have hope that there is someone who's attraction will turn my world upside-down, (hopefully in a positive way). I have a wide variety of interests, but I would have to say that my passions are music and motorcycles. I have a quick wit and enjoy having a laugh with my friends. You're more likely to find me at a neighbourhood pub than a night club, how-ever I am not afraid to dance. I'm pretty laid back and calm, until someone messes with my friends or family, then I get my Scottish up. I will clear avoid negative people. I'm not really a sports guy, but like to go to the pub during games for the company and the vibe. Play guitar and kinda sing. I live alone since my dog passed away last summer, have my own house, and a good career. I do enjoy the good things in life: good wine, a nice meal, travel, etc. but I generally lead a pretty simple life. I'm not really hung up on material things (Harleys, guitars, and tools excluded). lol I'm hoping to meet a friend, companion and lover, hopefully all in the same woman. I'm in a period of flux, near the end of my career, looking towards semi retirement and getting out of the lower mainland, so I'm unsure about getting too involved with someone when I don't know where I'm going or what I'll be doing. That said, who's to say there's not someone else out there feeling the same way? I'm not really a conventional man, sometimes conservative, sometimes so far off the beaten path that people don't know where I'm coming from. I have a broad knowledge base and can talk with just about anybody and find a commonality. I've never had children, I like them, but prefer adult company for sure. I really do appreciate the commitment, struggle. and rewards of having children, it's just not my path. You are going to have to be a woman with a certain confidence and courage. At times the company will be kind of rough and boisterous and the riding gets a little fast from time to time.You have to remember that bikers have more fun than people do, but it's all about respect, love and having fun. I have no game, just a nice guy who grows on you like a fungus, LOL Okay, if your still reading, I must have caught your attention. My three year plan is to retire and move out of the lower mainland to someplace rural. So if you have commitments to job or family in town, I'm probably not a good long term fit for you. After a meeting to see if there's a spark, we let that spark light the way.
