If I'm not at work I'm outdoors hiking, fishing or taking in the stars at night. Very few indoor activities are on my list of TTD. Its time to unwind and enjoy life and I would like to head in that direction with someone special. I am willing to try anything, right now cooking is not working out so well for me as I am "burning" most everything so a cup of noodles look very tasty at times. I enjoy a cold frosty beer most times but have dabbled a little bit in the Wine arena finding the reds very tasty. When I go out to dinner ( Can't cook), open air restaurants are my favorite, fresh air, good food and a little music make for a most relaxing evening. My favorite is sushi followed by hot thai food. When I am in the outdoors I spend most of my time up in the Sierras, hiking, fishing, exploring old gold/silver mines and taking in the sites surrounding old ghost towns.. Yes life is simple and I choose to enjoy it. We all are looking for that "Perfect" first date but a casual, open air festive type atmosphere where the whole crowd can partake and share the experience helps to ease the tension on a first date. I am sure there are many that dance better than I but they do not have as much fun as I do.

I'm a former Mr. Mom to my two grown kids, I have a really fun and diverse group of friends, I'm retired from my first career and working in my second. I've been known to be just as notoriously independent as I am faithful - absolutely a one woman man, just not wired for anything else. I work in a professional capacity all week but on weekends can climb behind a drum kit, on the motorcycle (not a biker, just a guy who owns a motorcycle), or on the couch with you, and have fun. I'm looking to complete my circle, for someone to share in life's triumphs and tragedies. I really can enjoy myself doing almost anything; from driving until we're lost, a cookout with family and friends, going out listening to some live music, a quiet "us" evening, a show at the Murat or the IRT, concerts, state parks, museums, comedy clubs, projects around the house or yard, almost anything - really! Being in a comfy rut is fine, but getting out and experiencing life is something we all need to do....who cares if our night out is only sitting in the back yard around the firepit, does red wine or white wine go with marshmallows? In my 20 years in the Air Force I lived all over the US and in Europe for a couple years, traveled a big part our world (3 continents), now I'm ready to settle into the good life with the right person...it's time. For those of you concerned with trust, I worked security on Air Force One...really. You can expect honesty and integrity from me, I'll expect the same from you....it's all about mutual. No drama, no pretenses, no worries....life's good, let's put the top down and enjoy the ride together. drinks, coffee, Vegas?

Hello to everyone out there; I wish you all the best! I've had some bad experiences but I remain optimistic. I'm looking for the real thing. A woman who wants me for who I am; not for what I have or what I can do for her. I'm willing to give it 100% every day. I believe life is too precious and short for anyone to want less! God only knows how long each of us has. I believe we should meet at a mutually agreed upon location where we can both feel comfortable and hear and see each other very well. It could be indoors or outdoors and I don't mind being the one who does more driving to get there. And my apologies to those ladies who like to do what I affecionately call the "drive-by" encounter where you meet at for example Starbucks, have a 5-minute talk over coffee and then hurry out of there to make your next appointment. I'm sorry, but that's just rude! I've never had it done to me and I never will. I'm no male model but I've always been told I'm handsome so I'm confident that no one will be grossed out when they meet me. I've met a couple of women who were let us say "disappointingly different" in appearance as compared to their pics or self-description but I still believe everyone deserves at least an hour of the other's time out of respect. I know everyone won't agree with me but that's where I've arrived on this subject.
