I’m looking for a VERY special girl, because I’m a VERY special guy. I’m no better than any of the other guys out there, just different (but in a Good way). I take that back . . . I have only been married once and I married a little later in life (didn’t want to settle for just anyone) and was together for 16 years, married for 13 of those years. I've been divorced for 4 yrs. and I plan to marry again someday when I meet the girl of my dreams. That will be my second and FINAL marriage, since we will stay together to the end. : )Let’s see now . . . If you don’t like Dark Chocolate, you might not be for me. If you don’t exercise a little and try to stay in shape, you might not be for me. If you don’t like camping, going to the lake or snow skiing, you might not be for me. If you don’t like kids and family, you guessed it . . . you might not be for me. If you don’t like a little PDA, holding hands and kissing, you just might not be for me. There are more things on my list, but these are some of the things I like to do and would want to do with whomever I eventually meet and grow old with.Hey! I was only kidding about all that “You might not be for me” stuff above. Even if we don’t like all the same things, you still might be for me. But if you DO like those things! That would be AWESOME! : ) In the end, it all boils down to Chemistry. You either have it, or you don't. : )I only have 2 known vices: Dark Chocolate and logging onto this site. : (Ok, one final thought - I just recently read someone’s profile and they talked about how these dating sites might be giving us TOO many choices. I tend to agree. Think about it . . . we can’t find the perfect mate because we are constantly thinking there might be someone that is better looking, or someone with more money, has been more places, etc…. or a closer match for whatever reason, that is still out there. Hmmm . . . I do think that is SO true. If we had fewer options (like, say . . . meeting at the local square dance vs. the internet) I’m sure it would be much easier and we would find someone and just be happy with whom we are with, but since we literally have hundreds of choices it’s hard to just pick one and be happy. What do you think? Am I on to something here? Think about it. Oh . . . and Happy Hunting! : )Not having much luck meeting anyone in the produce dept. at the local grocery store (does anyone besides me even shop for groceries anymore), and there's not too many Square dances to go to, so I guess I'm relegated to the Internet for now. : ( It's not really a date. We are just meeting each other. Something simple, like happy hour. some place where we could talk and try to get to know each other enough to know if we want to go on a REAL date or not. Then we'll fly to SD for dinner! : )
