If you asked me what I am I would say I am a loving father and a great friend.     Okay, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m professionally successful and financially secure. I’m thoughtful, honest, considerate, trustworthy, open-minded and… romantic. Too many adjectives? Maybe. But at least now you have an idea of who I am. I put immense value in trust, honesty and mutual compromise in a relationship. If you don't have these, then you simply don’t have one. I do belong to a gym and exercise regularly. A total health nut, I’m not. But I’ve always made a decent effort to take care of myself…and hopefully, I always will. I enjoy going out for dinner but I also like staying in and making dinner at home. There’s nothing wrong with a couple of nice steaks on the grill… or whatever else might strike your fancy. As for fun and adventure, well, with the right person, I’d be up for anything. Live music… absolutely. A hike in the mountains… I’m there. A weekend at the beach… let’s make it three or four days! It really doesn’t matter what we do. Doing anything with the right person is a thousand times better than doing everything without. Well, hopefully something here peaks your interest a bit.     I have a good sense of humor and like to laugh and make others laugh too, but I'm kind of shy at first, so it may take a margarita to bring me out of my shell. Lol. Call me old-fashioned but I was taught to treat a lady like a lady. I still hold doors for women, bring them flowers and put them on a pedestal. I see all these profiles of women saying they are tired of the games, liars, cheaters and users. Well, alot of women are the same way and men get hurt by them too. I'm very honest and I was raised with good morals so I definitely wouldn't try using someone. If we don't gel, I'd try to be your friend. Could always use more friends, but I wouldn't string someone along. I'm a drummer who prefers mostly Classic Rock and Blues, but I like a lot of the newer stuff too. I currently play in a classic rock band on weekends. I'm a big Lynyrd Skynyrd fan and I don't even mind some of the newer Country. Drumming is my release from the daily grind of my full time municipal job. When I'm not playing, I like taking weekend trips, camping, fishing, dining out, movies/tv (Love Cops, 48 Hrs Mystery and Dateline. Lol). Or sometimes just having a fire and few beers in the yard works for me. I love to travel, especially south to the ocean. If I could, I'd be a professional vacationer. Lol. I'm a big dog lover and have a great 8yr old Boxer.(Kids and dogs love me. lol.) I'm also kind of a history buff with a big interest in World War Two and the Civil War, so I sometimes travel to historic sites too.(I know.. boring. lol) And I still act and feel 25. Maybe in 30 years I'll act my age. lol. Well,I guess dinner and conversation is usually a good way to start. If it goes well, then maybe a walk in the park or a drink somewhere to talk more.
