About Me

First time doing this,so here goes! I'am very focused on what I want out of life, you only go around once! I enjoy the outdoors,camping,riding horses in the mountains,fishing,most anything fun.I have grandchildren thats not blood, but love them as if they were,they are my pride and joy!Have a good job,maybe I'll hit the loto HA-HA. Would love to travel with a special women and enjoy this time in my life.I have learned to work with my hands,so most anything that needs done I do it myself,I take great pride in this!Love animals and they seem to be attracted to me,have'nt been bitten yet!I have three grown children ages 21,23,27,all are doing good in there lives and very proud of them.Would love to meet a special women that is true to her heart as well as mine.Someone to share the joys of life, both hers and mine!I would like a women that takes care of herself physically and take pride in the way she treats others.Could just keep writing but probably make my fingers sore!Have to end somewhere.     I have a good sense of humor and like to laugh and make others laugh too, but I'm kind of shy at first, so it may take a margarita to bring me out of my shell. Lol. Call me old-fashioned but I was taught to treat a lady like a lady. I still hold doors for women, bring them flowers and put them on a pedestal. I see all these profiles of women saying they are tired of the games, liars, cheaters and users. Well, alot of women are the same way and men get hurt by them too. I'm very honest and I was raised with good morals so I definitely wouldn't try using someone. If we don't gel, I'd try to be your friend. Could always use more friends, but I wouldn't string someone along. I'm a drummer who prefers mostly Classic Rock and Blues, but I like a lot of the newer stuff too. I currently play in a classic rock band on weekends. I'm a big Lynyrd Skynyrd fan and I don't even mind some of the newer Country. Drumming is my release from the daily grind of my full time municipal job. When I'm not playing, I like taking weekend trips, camping, fishing, dining out, movies/tv (Love Cops, 48 Hrs Mystery and Dateline. Lol). Or sometimes just having a fire and few beers in the yard works for me. I love to travel, especially south to the ocean. If I could, I'd be a professional vacationer. Lol. I'm a big dog lover and have a great 8yr old Boxer.(Kids and dogs love me. lol.) I'm also kind of a history buff with a big interest in World War Two and the Civil War, so I sometimes travel to historic sites too.(I know.. boring. lol) And I still act and feel 25. Maybe in 30 years I'll act my age. lol. Well,I guess dinner and conversation is usually a good way to start. If it goes well, then maybe a walk in the park or a drink somewhere to talk more.
