I am passionate about running and cycling( the ones that you have to peddle ). I love doing almost anything outdoors.My Mom and Dad are very important to me. They are 88 and 87, respectively, and they live about a mile from me. They are an amazing couple who have made so many things possible for me.I would love to meet someone who is comfortable with a simple life. Cooking together and going for walks would be great. I think that it is crucial that two people are at ease with each other. To me, this means that what you are doing is not the important thing, *** is the fact that you are doing it together- whatever it is. There needs to be a quiet comfort just being together. Talking all the time is not necessary.Music is therapy for the soul. I enjoy most all types of music. I don't understand the whole rap concept and heavy metal is too loud for me. Many of the tunes from the 70's and 80's stuck with me. Jazz can certainly add to the ambiance of an evening together. I don't listen to much country music, but I would have to admit that the lyrics of some of those songs can change your way of looking at things.I am unique. I hope that this is a good thing. I try to be very empathetic, kind, and caring. I do my best not to judge, but it happens now and again. I am forgiving and easy to be around. My helpmate would have her space and time for herself. She will not be smothered. She will be treated with the utmost respect.I love movies that have happy endings. People deserve to fall in love- at least once.Rarely do I write or talk about myself.Hope that my words connect with a kind soul. Guess that the first date issue puts a lot of pressure on the guy. Maybe it shouldn't be that way. Could we simplify and just figure it out together? There are two of us in this partnership. Shouldn't we be working together on this decision?Should you want this to be left up to me, here is what I would plan.Go for a walk, talk, and get to know a little bit about each other. So far we have only read things about each other and glanced at a photo that was posted online.Next, we could go for a drink. You can choose your favorite beverage. No pressure.Then, we could cook a dinner that could well be a disaster. Disaster stories would help us focus on the present, not the past. A few words about the future would be nice.After dinner, falling asleep, just hanging out would be great.A hug and a hope to spend more time together would be a wonderful end to the evening.
