About Me

I suppose that saying that I'm looking for a reliable friend, honest companion, and fun partner my seem a bit boring and or redundant. If it looks as if I left "lover" off that list, it's because that part usually works itself into the scenario eventually. It seems that we all lay down this supernumerary list of what we will or won't accept, but in truth, life, love, and living are about flexibility and patience. This I well understand.I enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, far from the compulsive habits of cable TV, ***, bar scenes, and confusion. I like to hike, enjoy and observe nature at work, watch people go about their days, and give folks a hand when I can. I drink seldom because I really never developed a need to drink often. I enjoy healthy food, can cook very well, as many a traditional Cajun man can, and have been known to cut a rug with a warm and smiling partner on a dance floor.I traveled and worked abroad many years. Know the difference between "classy" and tasteful (I like tasteful). I can honestly declare that I don't thrive on drama, but am able to cope with challenges, as they come about, in a patient and compassionate manner.     I am at a "fork in the road". My large "network" of friends is there and that is irreplaceable. I am reliable and "handy" and have just "improved" and "corrected" my profile as there were mistakes I overlooked. Last year I helped "set-up" and manage a golf course that was to be sold or leased. My relationship is of the "utmost importance" in my life. I really am "following my heart" and it is a "lonely hunter" but I still believe there is someone who will try as hard as I do. ...along the way I will meet many friends also so everyone should benefit...It's very hard to even become friends here so that is disappointing....I am interested in our "chemistry" and our ability to be "friends first" rather than your hobbies or things like "Must love cats", "I like to spend time with family" ,....it really should be about "US" in the initial stages and ALSO AFTER the initial stages so I like to stay focused on the "task at hand". The relationship should be the PRIORITY otherwise please don't respond. I don't think anyone cares about my hobbies at this "stage" of initial introduction although my "part-time gig"....lol...it would be nice to be friends and see where it goes.....it's not complicated..but it seems like "becoming friends" is VERY difficult here on meetville and communication skills are definitely lacking ....willing to relocate for the "right" reasons...P.S. Can I say I am "relationship-oriented".?..no one says that and everyone SHOULD be saying it... Shouldn't "relationship-oriented" be a priority for everyone?....I am glad I can still focus....lol....Two people who really want a relationship and communicate, become friends and meet have a better chance than those who do nothing......simple no?........not really.....one step at a time... Becoming friends is a "lost art" ?....Mutually decided and agreed upon. Learning what we both want and need....understanding the parameters of a functional relationship....and lots of laughing....
