Try not to put too many expectations on the first meetings and conversations. While chemistry is important, so is inner character. Like funny, good spirit, warm hearted women who have succeeded in their own right in life. That does not necessarily mean in the financial sense. I do like long hair, painted nails and lipstick...just a preference but not a deal breaker. Someone who enjoys culture, exploring different towns, cities, countries and our own back yard. Spontaneous, whimsical, young at heart, outgoing, intelligent, a good conversationalist, a thought provoker, a prankster and one who shares deeply. Someone who likes to dress up for great nights out on the town, can knock around the house in sweats or shorts and is comfortable in any situation. A lover of family, friends, companionship, an equal in every way, never behind, never ahead, just side by side. One who can roll with the punches of life, celebrate the victories, persevere through the bad times, honest, faithful and fully committed to the journey of life as a couple. One who can give the "look" when I say something stupid, jab me in the ribs when I need it in public and hold my hand as we walk through life. Total sucker for a pretty face. The eyes and smile go a long way. Tend to gravitate towards slender to average builds,BUT, am not hung up on the stereotype cast these days. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not looking for a "trophy wife", looking for my other half. I've been divorced for 9 years and done internet dating for the same amount of time. Needless to say, I have not found her yet. Just because I am very selective, doesn't mean in may not be you! Not in to serial dating or casual flings, but willing to wait until whenever for the right person. While "laughing and having fun" might be a life ambition ( who wouldn't want that all the time ) it's a bit on the shallow end of the pool for me. Isn't that what we all ultimately seek? The impossible is always possible with two hearts joined together, two minds that think all things are possible and two Souls that are united as one. In this day and age, "self" has lead to isolation, closed hearts and short term thinking. Isn't it time to take a risk? Ever wondered what happened to all those years that could have been? Pain of the past still so intense you cannot release your future? These are all lies. While extremely difficult to find these days, the real deal can happen, but one must take a chance. What's holding you back? Security can only be found in what you truly believe in. Do you have enough Faith to believe it can happen? Take a little baby step. The biggest regrets in life are the chances we never took. Say hello, the worst that can happen is you make a new friend. Keep it simple, coffee is good and normally a great place to talk without distractions. I am one of the rare birds that actually "listen" to what you say. A lot can be learned in just 5 minutes :) I don't believe in interrogation, exploration in conversation is a great way to see if we have some things in common. Warm weather could be a walk, outdoor lunch or anything really.
