I'm genuine , honest and have direction in my life with a very successful career! LOL but bring the tunes on while we make the perfect meal together!My kids are my world and I will bend over backwards to give them the edge that will let them succeed in life.Profiles are like movie trailers, a quick view and one has to decide if the movie is worth watching. The trailer may be great but the movie sucks and vice versus. I am a down to earth, easy going, fun loving educated man looking for someone to share love laughter and adventure with. I truly am an awesome guy! Looking for a woman that enjoys the simpler things in Life.Life to me is about learning new adventures and sharing the knowledge learned ....I like trying to keep a somewhat active lifestyle, soin the summer months it can include camping, kayaking ,and hiking or bike riding,swimming at the lake,also country drives to nowhere,even walking in the summer rain. Most activities I like to do are around the water.Just relaxing at home watching a funny movie or playing backgammon or other board games ,vegetable gardening , learning to cook and even dancing.I also enjoy woodworking , and home renovations. In the winter months I slow down a bit , and that can include cross country skiing , tobogganing and indoor swimming .I'd rather be outside doing anything when the weather is nice .I also enjoy going out to craft shows, county fairs, art shows, museums or just a relaxing, or just great conversation.I'm pet friendly, I have owned dogs most of my life, but I am without any dogs now.I'm self sufficient, I have my own life , just looking to share some time with someone else. I enjoy sitting out on a patio, just people watching.I love to be constantly experiencing new and different cultures and learning new things .I'm very open to trying just about anything .Some of my past hobbies have included downhill skiing,water skiing,scuba diving, boating .Very family oriented, and still talk or see them almost daily.I have a good quirky sense of humor . I drink socially, enjoy traveling and do go to church on a weekly basis (I don't preach this though).I just got out of a 9 year relationship which she ended suddenly. I have no burning desire to dive into another long term situation unless it is just right. I have been out of the dating scene for a long time and I would like to get my feet wet again (hence plenty of fish). The ideal first date would be coffee on a patio in the afternoon. No pressure, just a chance to get a first impression.The idea of a first date at a movie does not agree with me: you sit in the dark and don't talk!
