it took me years to figure the life style i really wanted to live, i guess im a little slow sometimes LOL.this basicly means i live in the country and love that i am close to most everything i want to do, but really only minutes to town.c. but moved back to be closer to my family.my taste in music varies from the mood im in or wish i was, anything from 50s and 60s juke box, rock, country and have been caught listening to bubble gum music.i usually can be convinced to try most foods there is only a few that i refuse, bbq anything probably tops my list of favorites.i spend alot of time building projects could be a plane, car, boat ect. the latest is rebuilding this house, almost done, well are homes ever really done, but not living out of boxes anymore. finally getting to the fun part of furnishing, spending alot of time looking for antiques and learning what is what.would love to meet that special woman who would join me in creating a great life together some of my pics are a few years old, i will have to make an effort to get some new ones, something simple that puts both of us at ease. .

Thank-you for stopping by to read my profile!Things I like to do include playing guitar, listening to music, cooking dinner for and with someone special, going for a walk in one of the many regional forest trails local to me, pubs, movies, live entertainment etc...love reading, used bookstores, walks, bike rides, cooking and trying new recipes. For some reason I enjoy both food and Christmas shopping lol. Love trips to Ikea and ‘home’ stores. I have recently taken up golf again after 30 yrs and am trying to figure the game out and steadily improving. Tiger should be fearful. I find that Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and random weekends are great times to cook and hang together, and I look forward to the next occasion coming along! Family and kids are so important.I value honesty, integrity, loyalty, calmness in my partner and tend to be attracted to assertive, confident women. I want to find someone whom is of similar values to me and who is local to where I live, within maybe an hour or so. Phone calls, texts and *** help to bridge the times when you can't be together in person... Not to mention the required 'self-time'. I have a strong sense of wanting to nurture and build a relationship slowly. Enjoying time with and learning about a new friend is exciting, so who wants to rush that :) I think I am a bit 'old school' - I like giving flowers, opening doors, pulling out your chair, making sure you are taken care of.Of course I do the required house maintenance and repairs etc. although I am of a mind to pay the ‘guy’ these days as there are not enough hrs in the day. Love like you don't need the money, dance like you have never been hurt and work like nobody is watching I'm a creative professional (architecture), open minded, intelligent, opinionated, active, athletic (exercise daily but not insanely) and very independent, with a warm family and great circle of friends. I'm generally easygoing but I have a backbone and a passionate edge at times. I like to learn new things and have a healthy curiosity about the world. I`m established and generous but not materialistic- I prefer experiences to things. I strongly believe in giving back and making the world (or a small part of it) a better place (I don't own a Speedo). Nothing beats travel- it's a rush to be a little off-balance somewhere exotic and unfamiliar with all 6 senses in overdrive. Been to the Sphinx, Sagrada Familia, pyramids, Petra, Istanbul and more...it's a long list. I take a mean photo when I travel and I go to soak up the culture, experience the place, connect with people and learn something. My other drug of choice is live music - classical to alt rock (from this decade) followed closely by art; culture, sports, movies for grown ups, and almost no TV...I prefer to go out and have fun. But sometimes a night in cooking dinner, sharing wine and watching a movie together is ideal. I always have a book or two on the go. Ideas are oxygen for me. If we match wits, everything else will likely fall into place. My interests and sensibilities are very urban. I'd prefer to meet a like- You are slim to average- self-sufficient, happy and healthy, warm and witty with depth and intelligence ...likely a professional and willing to spoil and be spoiled.
