I’m 52, 6ft tall, average weight, hair greying at the sides and I wear glasses for reading. I don’t drink or smoke, I have been married in the past but I’ve been divorced since ***, since then I've dated a few times but at present I’m single and living alone. I’m an honest, friendly, hard working and reliable person, good sense of humour and very down to earth. I don’t play mind games I truly am searching. I prefer romantic nights in watching a movie with cuddles on the sofa, but with the right company I don’t mind going in to town or to the local cinema. I am a true romantic; I’m presently working in a local charity shop in my spare time, but I also do work for prisoners in the USA. I’m not very materialistic, I even sold my car as I didn’t really need it, and to be honest I don’t miss it, I’m not one of the “keeping up with the Joneses” types. Things I don’t like; bad manners, lies, most reality shows, pestering phone calls (PPI and computer virus,) people stealing from the shop (utter lowlife’s.) What am I looking for? Well, I’m not really looking for one night stands, friendship would be the start, and then hopefully moving on to a romantic relationship, someone who has a fun sense of humour, is down to earth and can live with life’ Although distance can be a problem for some, I feel it’s an obstacle that can be overcome. The lady of my life is out there somewhere...my quest to find her continues. Well a first date has got to be somewhere public, sometime during the day, a coffee, with a light lunch in a quiet place where you can chat without raising your voice, and finally a walk around the town hand in hand hopefully making plans for the next meeting.
